I will get a mountain of disagrees here, but here we go:
"Also start making more ips instead of the same type of Mario and Pokemon games the last 2 gens."
With that said at least Nintendo's Mario games are still arguably some of the better games this generation, and the same applies to Zelda, Metroid, etc. Hell even the Pokemon RPGs on the DS are still widely received among gamers.
And PS3 has groundbreaking games as well, many ...
I played violent video games since I was young (not 10 or under young that is)...it's this useful thing called separation between reality and fantasy. Anyone lacking that is a total moron. On the same coin, parents should be responsible to protect anyway and ensure their kids are capable of playing games the way games are designed for: entertainment purposes ONLY. Oh and teach them reality from fantasy.
I buy my (new) games from Best Buy and Target if buying from a local store. GameStop's stinking ass stores turn me off. Amazon FTW.
Best to Buy elsewhere.
PS3 is $300 and people still whine about the price, even though the majority of Xbox360 gamers buy a $300 SKU anyway and pay $60 a year no less for online access. <truth>The 360 is cost effectiveness at best.</sarcasm>
Undead Nightmare sets the perfect example of what a $9.99 piece of DLC should've been in the first place. Not only that, but the DLC alone is worth more than many of my 60 dollar games combined. Got my money's worth and some.
Nothing special about Farmville... Back to playing Harvest Moon.
Single player is undead. RDR's new DLC is a testimony of that.
F*** yeah I am buying this junk! Super Mario All-Stars and game music FTW!
(Very good junk that is)
I like the PS3 better, and have played it far more than I did my PS2, but the PS2 and the Dreamcast are the two best of last generation systems IMO.
I haven't gotten around to playing the PC version yet. Now that the PC version is cheaper than it was I should pick that up. It wouldn't hurt to also buy the PS3 version when the price drops as well, to see how well this game performs on console. Good game for console gamers though. Maybe when I get a new GF, this would be a perfect gift!
I rarely ever buy DLC because online multiplayer is not my cup of tea, however I am excited for Undead Nightmare because it provides new single player story content, for an amazing game no less.
Pirates are the scums of entertainment.
Apple should take over Money$oft. Ah, one can hope.
The PS2 is still alive because Sony allows the customers decide if the PS2 should continue living... Right now enough people want the system still.
EDIT: BTW I have a 20GB PS3, and as much as I love it's BC, it feels more nostalgic playing my PS2 games on, well, a PS2 and an SDTV.
Or make a new Chrono game. All the remakes you (Square-Enix) took a piss on should be an indicator that your fans wanted a Chrono game. Get it?
@people bashing the store: What's wrong with GameStop?
The vast majority of the DS gamers are well past their 8-year old chapter long before the system was announced.
That is what's wrong with the Japanese industry...they TRY so hard to be all western. Stick to your own style, western gamers are still starving for more jRPGS and other games Japan was known for.
No thank you. PS Eye, EyeToy, and Wii Sensor Bar is all I need around my TV.
