The metacritic statistics are showing the franchise is rolling down the hill like a big giant Ball of Dookie.
lol lol lol lol lol
The stench of delusion is amusing. Enjoy paying $60 for a linear 2-hour campaign and paying $15 for map packs that only include 2 maps each.
But...It'll get better! The next step is for Activision to roll out a subscription fee for the multiplayer and of course charge at least $10 bucks a month.
lol lol lol lol lol
For a CoD game it looks great, but for a FPS game it looks like your average generic, cookie-cutter FPS game n00bs have put on a pedestal.
Enjoy your 2-hour campaign!
And expect Activision to roll out a subscription fee. That would be the final step to have CoD become the ultimate cash cow. Oh it'll be entertainment watching all the planks that fall for it.
Haters gonna buy BF3...
Those, and I would like to add Dark Cloud 3 (though very unlikely) to the list.
Because sales = quality! /s
Because CoD fanboys are not gamers...they're Activision's marketing drones. As long as the drones keep buying new box art for $60 year after year CoD will always dominate the market.
LMAO way to stink up a Nintendo article with your fanboyism pride. The 3DS is awesome.
Look no further. I have the details right here:
-More perks
-More 8-year olds screaming on the mic
-More bugs and glitches
-More $15 map packs with only 5 maps each
-More hackers
-More truckloads of cash given to Activision
-More of the same
Not a chance, idiot. Nintendo gamers are content with Mario and Zelda. NGP buyers have Uncharted and LBP to look forward to. No real gamer craves shovelware garbage marketed to the lowest common denominator.
Uh son...books, DVDs, and paintings get sold second hand and the publishers don't b!tch about them on a regular basis. The game industry is a multi-billion dollar business, and the greediest on the entire f*cking planet.
Oh I see, so it'll be either sh!tty online passes and day 1 DLC, or a poor man's GTA game a year...
This generation of gaming is getting better and better! /s
Hey if anybody on here is willing to pay another $60 for a new cover, give me a jingle. I got a bridge to sell.
Fools and their money.
How I love to buy a military shooter every year on the year with 2 hour campaigns, $15 map packs and mediocre online multiplayer full of glitches.
just kidding
Last gen we had:
-JRPGs
-Stable games
-10+ hour campaigns
-Reliable consoles
-Diversity
This gen we have:
-Only a handful of JRPGs
-2 or 4 hour long campaigns
-$60 price tag
-DLC milking
-A decline in split screen multiplayer, LAN parties and home servers
-Super amazing console hardware that fails
-Over saturation of cookie cutter FPS games and shovelware
-Online passes
1. Already the 7th CoD of the 7th Gen
2. 4-hours of cookie cutter garbage for a campaign
3. Bugs galore
4. More overpriced DLC
5. More 8-year olds on multiplayer
6. Another 60 dollar PC game
7. This game will be so jaw-dropping /s
I am probably one of the few that prefers the design of the slim over the fat one, and I have both. Then again it's just my opinion. The PS3 Slim feels nostalgic (like a PS2).
One of the few games by R* that doesn't interest me because of the repetitive gameplay. Waiting for GTA V and quite possibly another RDR SP expansion or even another RD game.
