With that said you need to pay for multiplayer, and expensive prices for a SATA HDD in an enclosure upgrade. The PS3 has eliminated this problem. You get what you paid for.
Xbox is not a console, it's a blasphemy against gaming. The PS3, a console, has already dominated the 360 since launch because of this reason...
My points are VERY valid and truthful. Your replies are silly.
Here's 10 more:
-$60 price tag
-DRM
-Consolizing the PC gaming platform
-Combating the second-hand sales
-Inflated corporate greed
-Shortened single player
-Decline of split-screen multiplayer, LAN parties, and home servers
-Massive decline of JRPGs
-Rushing games through the industry
-Franchise milking
This is definitely an AMAZING generation that will always be remembered. </s>
We'll have to wait and see what this game has in store for PS3 gamers.
The publisher for the most part. A bit if everyone's fault as a whole.
Pretty much a lot has changed from the 6th generation to the 7th, much for the worse unfortunately. Games are bathed in bugs and glitches and this is one of the many major shortcomings in this generation. From what I remembered, the 6th generation games weren't this unstable in the majority of the AAA titles. Now it's the other way around.
If you still waste money on XBL after this controversy, I got a bridge to sell. Fools and their money.
Hopefully GT6 will be a launch title for PS4. That way nobody can complain saying "PS4 has no games..."
It's Patcher, and that is all you need to know.
Local processing is always faster and with lower latency than playing an off-site game in the cloud. And laws of physics dictates this will always remain to do so.
Cloud gaming is great for the PC rentals niche, but you must be a total moron for spending 60 dollars a game that can end up bust anytime after 3 years. Not to mention no ownership and no offline play.
Not even close. Nothing can dare to kill the almighty tower. Unless OnLive just streams Windows Solitaire to the 360 Gold Members this service will not succeed.
I bought Colors Wii yesterday and the game played much better than the 2006 Sonic game. It's even more enjoyable than Sonic 4, and that game was fun.
Good lord. Looks like I need to start my own used games market that supports the "DEVS" so people can stop moaning about how used games rip "DEVS" off. These complainers (like DirtyLary) are too cheap to start their own store or to buy everyone new games.
Anyway this is no pro GameStop post. It's just the complainers against used games that piss me off. GameStop as a store is very questionable from a customer standpoint.
The Power Glove is a 3rd party controller, made by the same company that released the Intellivison. Obviously not Nintendo's product.
Kinect = PS Eye Toy rip off.
Kevin Butler needs a video game.
If you love paying for XBL, you're the target audience for Kinect.
If emulation would be used for PS2 titles, it would be on the PS4 instead due to technical hurdles on the PS3 hardware. Pseudo-BC via HD remastering is and will be the closest we'll ever get to BC on the PS3. The PS2 games with a PS3 twist like trophies, 3D, and HD are something you should look forward to...instead of complaining about it.
Nintendo has always marketed toward the younger demographics, right from the beginnings. Post apocalypse of the crash, the NES wasn't marketed as a video game console (if memory serves me right, the NES was marketed as a toy instead).
Sony's main concern at this time is to make the PS3 project profitable so they can invest in the next projects, the PSP2 and PS4.
