Changing characters on the fly would bump it to an 8.5 for me. Not being able to do so is my biggest complaint in the Wii U version.
Seems metacritic score for this will be in the high 70s which is where I figured it would be.
I see the Switch getting revised, more powerful hardware in 2020. Drop the price to $250 this fall then in 2020 come out with the New Switch for $300 while the base model drops to $200 just before the release of the New Switch. That strategy makes the most sense to me.

The 3ds will be dropped before the Switch catches up to it. 2019 is the last year Nintendo will be supporting it though some 3rd parties may continue supporting it.
Yeah the New 3ds xl should drop to $160 and the New 2ds xl down to $130.
I definitely see that Mario and Luigi game being the final Nintendo published title on the 3ds next year but that means Nintendo supported the 3ds for 8 years!!! Can't complain about that.
