Aren't these also the same people who will count EACH pixel, slight color difference, frame-rate, & antialiasing on anything that is or isn't multiplatform . . .

...But THEN say a 6x difference between the Resolution/Bit-Rate of Blu-Ray & DVD doesn't matter?

I just think of a phrase I created myself:

"The Truth is always True...Anything else is a lie."

Simple explanation of that is that for a truth to be true, it mu...

As I said...and will say again...(because I am right)

300 or even 368 out of 250,000 is a fraction of ONE PERCENT.

This article isn't written like it, but these numbers are something to cheer about...and hope these 300-368 gamers get their machines fixed and back soon.

If you disagreed do the math yourself...I don't have time to edumuhkate you in all these komplikatid maths.

Even TRYING to smear the hardware failure rate of the PS3 turns out...

...and it really IS 300 people who's PS3's just up and died 11teen minutes after their 1-Year warranty.

Add up the numbers...Out of 250,000 PS3's sold, all 300 are STILL less that POINT.2 or One/Fifth of One percent. (The failure rate for the PS3 was listed officially as an extremely low .2 percent.)

So maybe all 300 of these unfortunate gamers knew Radar's number but only 68 knew Sony's?
Maybe there where 68 failures, but they called Radar more than once.

I just tried to simplify the whole mess into understandable PlanetXBox360-terms.

While I can view NetFlix rentals on the 360 via NXE it's ironic PlanetXBoxc360 states that NetFlix/NXE-360 wins compared to...a format you can't view on the 360.

You can of course RENT Blu-Ray but in the terms of this article...it's NetFlix Streaming OR Blu-Ray.

My point and yours appear to agree...it's BOTH.

P.s. How is it, again, that the SAME people w...

NetFlix/Streaming is for those who RENT

Blu-Ray movies are for those who BUY

Studio's support BOTH so choose the convenience of a rental for what you want to RENT, and the quality of Blu-Ray for what you want to OWN.

Pick what's best for you...and enjoy it!

Your estimates of percentages are based on, and create a fundamentally flawed premise.

Blu-Ray has had LESS THAN a year of market time without substantial competition which was bringing any HD media adoption to a stagnant adoption rate. A High-Definition stalemate.

Since you've been there through the entire stupid HD-DVD/Blu-Ray format war, you KNOW THIS & still stretch the past 11 months of gain into TWO to THREE years.

The actual, factual truth is ...

But it is still interesting.

These and many others are all Red-Pill glitches that have existed in the client since several versions back through the closed beta.

Actually, some have been very difficult to remove because of the design of the client and so some items have been completely removed from their categories while they are worked on, like rugs on your floor.

Just to clue everyone in on some other glitches:

This isn't anyone being desperate...except maybe the writer when it's pointed out films on all services are on a licensed ROTATION.

Just like your On-Demand DVR/Cable service...they are here then gone to make room for other TV/Movies/Media.

The writer just doesn't understand this is a normal practice. There's nothing nefarious from anyone going on here, except a writer without any experience on how Netflix or On-Demand services work.

N4G is an aggregate news site that had nothing to do with this article other than providing it with all the other articles for your convenience.

You chose to read the excerpt from this article...then click the link to the full article and read that.

Why that makes you want to leave N4G makes no sense to me . . . Anymore than searching Google for it, then no longer wanting to search with Google because of it.

Two down . . . Seventeen Million to go!

Seriously...Home isn't there to entertain you.
It's the members in Home that add the interest.

If you or your Mother never stopped to talk to anyone, do anything social, or get involved in anything it wasn't Home that failed you.

That's why Home is completely optional...it's great to meet others into social gaming, but not for everyone.

A free game environment with all-free compelling arcade & club games...all free?

Home was not designed as, and never claimed to be a place to keep you busy gaming with the games built in. In fact...the opposite. Home was created to help you meet and get to know other gamers & join them in games YOU OWN.

If you where expecting a free gaming environment, you're Home.
If you where expecting free games as good as those you purchase, you're Homeless.
