Nintendo been through harder times before and they survived then, so I'm pretty sure they will survive now.
While I would love to see some of Nintendo older games on a mobile platform its not necessary for them to throw their IP on every platform.
Playing a Mario game or majority of their franchises on a xbox 360/One or playstation 3/4 just wouldn't feel right.
I hope they bring it to Android with controller support. Also bring it to PC.
@FrigidDarkness
Either you are trolling or just plain s...... A 70billion dollar industry ( http://www.reuters.com/arti... ) doesn't need saving. If profits are down its because these greedy companies are bastardizing games just to make a quick profit. Which result less gamers buying the game their games. Either that or they're shooting themselve...
Well get used to the mandatory installs and DRM because Microsoft is bringing the heat, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I believe Skidrow team manage to crack SimCity and made a offline version. I don't condone piracy but there really wasn't any point adding a always online requirement to SimCity.
Is it me or does it seem Phil just keep digging the hole deeper?
What it is
-Generic Shooter
-Another game with co-op
-A game that has a mystical object but doesn't explain how this object/where this object came from.
-A game with generic story. "The plot follows these agents as they attempt to stop the shadowy organization, run by a man named Fable, who plans to use Fuse to make his weaponry more powerful."
What it isn't
-Insomniac best work
-The game you thought it would ...
Talk about kicking the hornet's nest, those WiiU owners seem pretty angry.
A Pokemon MMO and even a 3D open world Pokemon game has been thrown at Nintendo for years now. I have the slightest clue to why they won't do it.
Well they were nowhere near their kickstarter goal and announcing Denis Dyack was part of project sure didn't help much.
In 2011 the video game industry made a revenue 70* billion ( http://www.reuters.com/arti... )
If 70 billion surely means the industry is dying and need to be saved.
*70 billion however doesn't include mobile games on smartphones and tablets, its 78billion when you do include those things
Just from reading the description alone it sounds expensive. Yep £1,499.
Sadly you can't blame EA for this one. People were saying the game look generic and bland for months now.
Sadly I'm one of those people. Majority of this gen I played my games offline. I don't see any benefit of always online in a SP game/mode. Majority of the games I purchase this were SP. Why go buy a MP game then have to pay MS $30-$60 just to play it online? When you could use that $30-$60 towards a new game.
I don't see why since he was part of the problem that cause backlash after the Xbox conference was over.
The downside with digital content is that support isn't always guaranteed. Its part of the reason why I stick to physical format.
Steam can run on almost any hardware regardless of specs. Your Steam games can run on almost any hardware. Whether you're using a AMD or Intel chip or a AMD GPU or Nivdia GPU. XBLA and PSN games however runs on specific hardware. So when MS and Sony move on to new hardware, XBLA and PSN games may not function properly or even at all due to ...
When I read about this I thought about that Law and Order:SVU episode where the parents are addicted to video games so bad to the point where they don't even recognize their own daughter.
"You can look at it this way: Your physical copy, the disc, of Call of Duty: Ghosts for the Xbox One can be resold, but the license to play the game cannot be. In this way the technicalities of the first-sale doctrine are upheld, while the spirit of the law is not."
The law allows consumers to resell their physical copy of games however there's isn't a law in place that protect the digital side of the game.
Its fine for you to resell you cop...
I guess this is why some publishers are pushing for digital distribution. Not only they make more money selling their games digitally (compared to physically) but there's zero chance of the consumers reselling the game.
David lost his role but the Japanese voice actor for Snake gets to stay on. Something about this just doesn't seem right at all.
