Guess there is a first time for everything.
Microsoft will allow you bend over and take it.
Q: Will my Xbox One have to be always connected to the Internet?
Yes because who's really going to go through the trouble of getting online once a day just to meet the requirement then getting back off just to play their games?
Gamestop thinks about it survival first and they are willing to be bend over and take it from Microsoft.
Gamestop can come out say they won't offer any Xbox One games and or console at their store. Which would result in loss of possible profits. Now they can say they will support Microsoft, offer Xbox One games and pay MS fee for used games. Which result in Gamestop still making some money rather than no at all(as far next gen goes for MS products).

Intel Core Duo 2.4 Ghz CPU
4Gb RAM
NVidia GeForce GTS 250, 512 Mb video card
Doesn't seem all that demanding. I don't know why I thought the spec requirements would be higher.
What type of GPU do you have? That could be the problem possibly.
@Somebody
I know that silly but I had to let Microsoft win in one category.
Gamestop will just give you less for your Xbox One games and sell them for more like they always have.
If Gamestop died it wouldn't bother me. I buy most my games of Amazon or Ebay anyway.
Well I can play my steam games for days before it needs to be reconnected to the internet. While only 24hours on the Xbox One. Not to mention Steam doesn't need access to my webcam to function. While the Xbox One needs Kinect for god knows what to function.
While Steam isn't used game friendly like the Xbox One, the sales and daily deal/weekly deals make up for it. Not to mention majority of PC games are cheaper than console games.
Well Steam doesn...
Is Hayter even in Ground Zeroes?
@blitz0623
Those are games that will be on the Xbox One, either at launch or somewhere down the line.
Some of those gamers don't care how Microsoft treat them so long as they get the next CoD, Halo, Gears or etc.
Yep regardless how terrible the requirements for the Xbox One are, some people will still buy it. Just look Simcity, people still brought it in spite of the always online requirement. The same can be said about Diablo 3.
Some of the core players are up in arms about the requirements and threaten to jump over to Sony. However some of the hardcore CoD, Halo, Gears players will still buy the Xbox one. Majority of them tend to be online, a lot. They buy these games new, day on...
Its just 10 bucks come on now. I went into the article thinking the price would be 40-60 bucks.
Some are already on Android thanks to emulators. Soon as Android gets the hardware to fully run Dolphin every Nintendo console/handheld and game up till the Wii will be available(excluding the 3DS) on Android(through emulation of course).
Whelp we know who will win Consumer Worst Company(in the US) next year, so EA you can take a deep breathe and relax now /jk.
Whelp Cliff did say always online was coming and boy I didn't think it was coming this soon.
Basically MS has a created console you really don't own it or even control it. They are just giving you the right to play games on so long as you follow their rules.
At this point I doubt E3 will make a big difference anyway. Majority of the games I played on my 360 were multiplatform(and offline) anyway so.....peace MS, I won't be sticking around next gen. Guess I'll enjoy my 360 till it kicks the dust.
Companies' profits are down and they blame used game market and piracy. When instead they should be blaming themselves for bastardizing games with terrible MP, ridiculous dlc practices, terrible story and etc. Oh but no they can't do that because then they would be blaming themselves.
Get a bucket of cement and throw the Kinect sensor in it, problem solved /jk.
All jokes put aside Microsoft should just offer two retailer this winter. Ones with kinect and ones without kinect. Its quite silly of MS to assume everyone wants a Kinect sensor with their system, even if it is free.
I know its coming to Android but Eidos haven't specify if it comes with controller support
I would rather it be B2P or P2P to be honest. F2P can easily get filled up with gold spammers, glitchers, and or bots. Theres nothing stopping these types of players from making a new account either. They can just reset the IPs and make a new account. Seen it happen in previous F2P games. If not kept in check over time it can ruin the game for others.
Not this sh*t again. I'm willing to be this is Viacom&Microsoft doing. Man if there was one good thing G4TV offer was that they went over all the conferences.
Thank goodness for internet streaming.
