why do they always record these things at 30 fps? this game can run over 100 fps.
considering it hasn't even been a year yet, lets slow our roll. don't even know if we'll have mid cycle refreshes for starters and the slim editions won't come until after the hardware inside has had several revs and can be made cheaper and smaller. in other words... you've got a couple years at least.
Disagree. 300 for a slightly different screen and white joy con… hard pass. Especially with steam deck on the scene now… tho getting one of those is now officially next to impossible. I bet this won’t be impossible to get tho… for obvious reasons.

Weird that it lists RT in Gamepass. Also, this game really surprised me graphically. It’s pretty great looking no matter what. 2 solid releases this week for Xbox.

It’s a portable gaming system competing with a a portable gaming system… just cuz the software is better and more open ended doesn’t change that.
the thing this article claims is a positive is the switch's biggest negative in my opinion. I want a portable gaming system that plays real AAA games with good multiplayer support. I like a Mario or Zelda game once in a while, but almost every game that comes out on switch feels oriented to children or is some cutesy version of something else. I want to play real, regular games and I want those games to not be gimped down to crap fidelity with tons of work arounds and compromises to play...
I feel exactly opposite about everything you just said. I am sick of Nintendo catering to cartoon games, milking their IP while turning their backs on a majority market of gamers. I also think the joy con are horribly uncomfortable, clumsy and rarely have I ever removed them from the system. People that want portable gaming without a bias towards kids. As an adult I bought a switch and found it’s limitations immediately frustrating. And while it has quality first party exclusives, that doesn’t make want to play them. I like games that are more adult themed, cinematic or competitive multiplayer. The switch feels like a toy - physically and with its software.
Meh. The most fun I’ve had playing this game is with random ppl online. Single player stuff is fine now and then but unscripted madness is usually more fun IMO.
I'll go ahead and fix this: Steam Deck is Switch without the limitations and orientations toward children.

So they have nothing new to show… Xbox and switch keep showing up. This is either Sony being entirely too arrogant and relying on what we will refer to as “the faithful” or they don’t want to show that they have nothing new to show. No press is bad press tho.

I’m pretty interested in this. Is everything I wish the switch was. Fidelity, power, flexibility and less compromises. Switch feels like it’s for children.
