everybody complains about microtransactions and yeah... they're lame... but for as much as everybody hates them, they end up making millions of dollars. if ppl don't want microtransactions they should stop buying them... cuz the revenue they generate tells the studios that we love them. we don't HAVE to use them.
uh.... plenty of games coming, bruh. starting next month... and not only that, there are PLENTY of games on the series x, even if you don't include 3 generations of previous games supported and enhanced by xbox BC.
don't defend getting screwed. I have a ps5, compared to my series x its made a lot of missteps... sorry but true. anything from game pass being amazing in comparison to trying to upgrade games on the systems and save data. ps5 is a mess. they have some go...
You actually have to file every protected piece you want covered /dmca so Sony would have had to actively pursue this. They don’t just take it on themselves and if music isn’t registered it isnt detected.

and yet there it is above you. I wouldn't get your hopes on bluepoint. you don't come out and double down on your independence after rumors of acquisition start coming out. Maybe Sony tried to acquire them at some point in the recent past which would start rumors but anyone will tell you its self destructive to come out and blatantly lie to the public about something that is going to happen soon.
That’s not how pr works and they would face backlash if proven wrong with a contradictory announcement. It’s bad pr to lie as well as added risk to investors. They have in fact gone out of their way to even mention that they are financially independent so don’t get your hopes up. Usually when things like this happen and are true, it expedites a formal announcement b/c of the things I just mentioned. In short: don’t get your hopes up.

Bluepoint made a statement that they are “fully independent” and that was thiss as week so don’t think so.
This company specializes in porting to pc so if anything, this means Sony plans on bringing more of its first party to pc. And that makes a lot of financial sense.
fixing is faster than scrapping imo. games take a long time to make. especially new IP. Anthem for example had lots of good ideas, it just wasn't focused or dialed in - it could have been saved, but they heft it as an empty half thought out game and scrapped it.

I think the launch of xbox one was prob a good kick in the pants to motivate anyone to do better. that was a disaster and I like xbox.

straight up disappointing. this was a wasted opportunity imo. most ppl playing on switch don't really care about the visuals as much as say xbox and playstation and its not even capable of doing the stuff those consoles can do so its weird that the biggest upgrade is to the screen itself. the things OLED screens improve are things like HDR etc which Switch doesn't even support so I'm baffled why the biggest upgrade expense went to the screen. They could have just made a bigger LCD...
