that's debatable. it was great if you like those subjects...mostly superheroes. not a big superhero guy here... lets also not forget that a big chunk of that stuff is Multiplatform.
Of the PS exclusives, only GOW really grabbed me. I could care less about Spiderman or Wolverine stuff. I'm really burned out on the Marvel stuff and all that stuff is multiplat anyway.

Aside from GOW, I was underwhelmed and have no interest in superhero stuff and even most of that stuff is multiplatform. Insomniac is a good studio but I don’t even like superhero movies. Where was the new innovative stuff? New IP? This whole showcase felt like a Marvel/Sony IP cash grab. Nothing felt inspired or fresh with exception to GOW which has a good release pace.

Looks great. The only exclusive that truly made me excited tbh. TokyoWire looks dope too but that’s multiplatform. Super burned out on Spider-Man/marvel superhero stuff tho in general. It really feels like it’s getting milked at this point.
no combat but they just perform really well and are fast. one of my favorite things do is fly thru canyons with full afterburners. its challenging, fun and also looks really cool with the terrain ripping by and getting as close to the cliff edges as possible. sometimes we'll do follow the leader type stuff and try to race one another.
sweet. I have the f15 on PC its great. been waiting for it to come to Xbox. The Typhoon on Xbox is a decent holdover but the f15 is better imo.

I am being sincerely and honestly objective here. I really enjoy my ps5, but I agree with everything I this article - especially when comparing to my series x, which makes my ps5 kinda feel like work at times to do things that are automatic on SX. I think ps5 got the jump on good quality games at launch, but SX has a pretty stacked, quality lineup rounding out ‘21 and into ‘22.

I can some up 95% of video game preview coverage in one conflicting statement: if a video game franchise sticks to its formula it feels “familiar”. If it tries something new, it’s abandoned what made it great.

meh. I currently have a Vive that I use on PC, an Oculus Quest 2 and had a PSVR system.
