But stock….
the Netflix of games....
but the real question is why?
I know most ppl on this site will disagree with me, but at this point in our technological lives, I think physical copies are dumb.
you still don't "own" the game, you own the plastic it comes on and a license to play the game on your hardware. Most games still do a server check in. Most games have a day 1 patch that renders the disc useless as soon as its installed, making the disc code obsolete. Studios/publishers can still stop supporting those games and ev...
that may be technically true, but as some Switch ports have taught me is that just cuz you can, doesn't mean you should. Theres a point when the quality bar does more harm than good.
If this article said that about Xbox it would be al doom and gloom and it would be a failure and so on. Sigh.
Nobody is asking for it. That’s why. I could care less. Sold my psvr. Never use my quest and honestly wonder why I even bought it.
There’s no money in it. The attachment rates are low, most experiences rely on the same limited mechanics etc. it’s cumbersome to use. I had a psvr and I sold it. I have an oculus quest 2 and I never use it. I also have a Vive for my PC and literally the only time I use that is for the occasional flight simulator flight, but even then it has limitations - whether it being hard to see the many keys you need to use, or feeling around for buttons on the flight controllers etc. I have all this v...
people read things, interpret it, go thru the hate process then output a comment completely missing the point. obviously the point is that gamepass is offering advantages that make him feel his steam count isn't as good. conversely why are you going to pay for more things when one subscription price is good enough to do the heavy lifting...
being objective sucks I know.
the statement clearly meaning that gamepass is mature enough to be a worthy alternative or possibly even better in some aspects.... I know I know... details...
im really impressed with xbox this gen. last gen was a bit brutal, but ms has been grinding and it shows. I legit barely touch my ps5. not because I have some inherent bias or anything but simply b/c its just so much easier, more accessible and cheaper to do stuff on xbox. I've downloaded so many games off of Gamepass that its almost feels too good to be true.
lol they also gave best console of the year to Xbox lol. I'll submit the article.
worth mentioning the same ppl gave Series X console of the year.... look it up :)
Gonna be good. Visually it looks amazing.
That’s because IGNs media player stupidly plays everything back at 30 fps. You actually have to go find the source to see the difference. They do this with every comparison video ultimately rendering them pointless.
It uses ray traced audio in game play as well as ray traced lighting/reflections in photo mode…
Of course he would. You could replace his name with any ceo or president and replace games with any product and the statement holds true. What corporate leader wouldn’t want their product in the hands of as many people as possible?
That’s like not selling tvs cuz Netflix exists or not selling stereos cuz of Spotify. This has politics written all over it.
yup. I've seen reviews that give a game a 10 and then in the review complain about things that aren't prefect... well... if its a 10 those complaints shouldn't be in there. a 10 is flawless. no problems. I've also seen games where 15 reviews are in the 6's and 7's then suddenly a 10 pops up out of nowhere... then you look into it and you realize that its usually an exclusive game being reviewed by a dude who clearly has allegiance to one platform over another.
Sony is really going all in on this Spider-Man thing. I wonder if he’ll be featured in Gran Turismo or GOW too…
