Insomniac is an American company in California. They were just bought by Sony. So what is your point?
It might not have been his decision. You can be forced out.
Yes, they are. I've been playing games for years and some of them have gotten ridiculously long. That's not even factoring in the DLC. I remember when you used to play a game multiple times, now-a-days it's like ehh... I'm good. Plus, most gamers never even reach the end credits.
I agree. Games aren't fun and addicting like they used to be. Some of them feel like chores. There are still some great games being made, but there's also a lot of polished turds. I think there's too many sequels and clones. Ultimately, a game being fun should be the utmost priority and everything else should be extra.
In my opinion Game Pass works. I played RE7 on Game Pass and then proceeded to purchase RE Village, RE2, and RE3 as a result. I think if you can turn people onto your game series via Game Pass, you will make money in the subsequent releases in the series. By exposing more people to Hades, Hades 2 will probably do better in sales, whereas some people might not have ever given Hades a try.
As a PS4 Pro owner this makes me happy. I wasn't planning to get a PS5 until PSVR2 came out. Games still look really good on PS4. Until the PS5 can be found on store shelves, it doesn't make sense to discontinue support for the PS4.
I feel like if gaming consumption habits start to change where more people are utilizing Game Pass, it could be incredibly risky to not put your game on Game Pass. Because if one publisher does, and one publisher doesn't then a lot of gamers will just play the games of the publisher who does and ignore the games of the one who doesn't. Even w/ things like Netflix or HBO Max, a lot of subscribers just opt to watch what's on there, rather than go to the movies or buy physical copies...
No not really. PS5 is just living off the popularity and games of the PS4 generation. When comparing XSX to PS5, head to head, they are about even. But I think Xbox gets the edge due to Game Pass.
I be wondering the same thing. Just know any clickbait article will get failed. This site is dumb in that way.
It was a good game though. Underrated in my opinion.
Playstation been doing it for years.
I personally liked FFXIII, XIII-2, and FFVII Remake. I haven't played XV yet, but I'm sure that was probably good as well. I dunno what the author is talking about.
Just because it would help fuel your fanboy war doesn't mean it makes financial sense. Most gamers cannot get a PS5, so it only makes sense to continue to release games on both PS4 and PS5.
You can't even buy a PS5 in stores yet. It doesn't make financial sense to release AAA games for a console people are struggling to get, while ignoring the PS4's massive install base.
It being exclusive to PS5, doesn't necessarily mean it would be significantly different from a cross gen God of War, esp. this early in the console generation.
I agree. I mean by the time I actually get a PS5, I'll likely have forgotten about Returnal and Demon Souls. They really should have made them cross-gen.
In my opinion, Xbox is killing it w/ Game Pass. I really like the xCloud feature that allows me to stream games on the go on my phone and laptop and then I can pickup where I left off on my Series X when I get home. It's also a great way to play games you're unsure of.
It's a blow to those of us w/ a PS4 Pro as well. Xbox should try and secure a Marvel property. I'd like a Daredevil or Punisher game.
