I would buy a Slim or Pro if they released one. I don't really like how bulky the PS5 is or its white color which is why I haven't picked one up yet.
There really is no need to put LGBTQ content in everything. Not even sure why companies are okay sacrificing sales in order to do it either.
Would definitely be cool, but I doubt they will, given the PS5 Pro would probably only be a little better than the Series X.
Why would they? They're not gonna risk losing potential sales by hinting at a new console this early. Doesn't mean there won't be one.
Cool. Capcom is on a rolI. I still want to pick this game up but waiting for a sale.
I highly doubt this is true else Microsoft would probably face a lawsuit.
3 Spider-Man games in 5 years. Are you not tired of playing the same game over and over?
That's literally every Final Fantasy game. Even the newest entry FFXVI isn't gonna be an open-world game. Not every game has to be an open-world game filled with bloat and meaningless side/fetch quests. FFXIII had good mechanics, good graphics, music and the story wasn't horrible.
I don't think linearity is a fair critique, when every FF up until that point was fairly linear esp. in the first half of the game. People herald FF VII(including the remake), but it is just as linear as FFXIII was. The linearity complaints came at a time when open-world games were just starting to become a thing and people thought every game should be open-world, but now that every game is, people now want more linear experiences. Go Figure.
I liked FFXIII and I felt XIII-2 just improved upon the original. The series got an undeserved amount of hate at the time. Reminds me of how everybody was hating on TLOU2, when it was actually a really good game. People just like to jump on the hate bandwagon(see: Drake, Nickelback, etc.). I'd welcome a remaster.
Naw I doubt Indiana Jones is that far off. MachineGames hasn't released a major game in 4 years. Same goes for Gears and The Coalition. So chances are they'll have something out by at least late 2024.
They showing it in theaters, so you know it's about to be good. Sorry Ponies, 2023 is our year.
It's good to see MGS 1 finally come to Xbox. Hopefully MGS 4 will be in the Vol. 2 collection. I still wonder how this collection will differ from the HD collection that's already on Xbox.
Those are only physical sales. It doesn't include digital sales. And that data is only for the UK.
I think it's a gamble to make a third party game exclusive to just one platform. You almost have to be sure the game will be a critical and commercial success and even then you are limiting your success. A game like Silent Hill being an exclusive is kind of dumb to me given how niche the horror genre is. And at a time when services like Game Pass are giving games access to broader audiences, it doesn't make sense to purposely limit your audience and keep your brand from growing. I thi...
I saw some ads for Redfall on ESPN during Sportscenter. But obviously they didn't spend a ton on advertising.
I listened to part of the podcast. He was basically saying that even if Xbox released great games, that people wouldn't up and sell their PS5 and buy a Series X, since many people have already built their digital library on Playstation.
Sony released Days Gone and it was a buggy mess. Sony also released The Last of Us Part 1 on PC and it was a mess.
It'll probably be one of those games that improves over time. A lot of games release in an unfinished state now, but end up being decent down the line. Just come back to it in a couple of months.
Mixed Release? The game isn't even out yet for most people.
