What do you mean pull games out of their ass or have some new IPs?
This gen is almost 5 years old. They've been promising new games for years. So, yes they should have new games.
Victor Miller is your man.
@Sunny_D, your PS4 is still a PS4 and it will last just as long as PS1,2,3. You can ignore the iterative version and wait for the next main release. Act like the Pro never existed, there's no harm to you.
Undead Labs last release was junk.
Compulsion games is an indie who hasn't done much.
Playground already pretty much worked for MS, same for Undead.
A new studio who has done nothing.
So 2 unproven and 1 who hasn't done anything great lately. Not junk, but nothing to brag about.
2 of the studios Microsoft acquired already made exclusives for them, so that really changes nothing.
Compulsion games is a small indie studio who hasn't done anything great.
Ninja Theory isn't the only big news really.
The fifth studio wasn't an acquisition, but a new startup.
Not much has changed and no new IPs were announced.
Microsoft had nothing to show except sequels to their main 3 franchises. They try to cover this up by announcing some studio acquisitions, which normally isn't done at E3. Ninja Theory was really the only significant one because the others already worked with MS mostly.
They lost already before Sony and Nintendo went.
Yes, you have to pay. Why should it be free?
Please delete this article. This is why N4G is turning to crap. This guy literally tries to create his own rumor.
This isn't a leak. Basically just the dude made up the whole thing.
PS4 was cheaper than last gen and it will have a longer lifespan. So, what in the world are you talking about?
Sony offers season passes in many of their games.
Okay... but you aren't getting any more content ever. You don't see the difference?
I really don't understand why people complain about grinding. I'd really like to know what game you can play for 50+ hours where you aren't doing the same thing over and over?
Is there some game that is constantly creating free content for free and you never repeat?
I'm talking about in terms of software. WiiU was crap in that regards except for a few big hitters. Switch hasn't shown that has changed yet.
Switch is slowly going the way of WiiU. The hot start has fizzle out. Their first party titles won't be enough since third party still aren't putting out all their new games on this thing.
Damn Krib you're delusional. We took 1 sentence out of that? No, he said like 6 things to support what we're saying.
1) audience is smaller (probably true, but it isn't an audience you can ignore)
2) audience is inconsistent (maybe for their crap games like QB)
3) HZD and Zelda have no impact like the past (laughable, BOTW and HZD were most talked about games last year and Zelda saved Nintendo singlehandedly)
4) SP games are rare...
Wow can't believe this crap was approved. Who said these things were unannounced? Maybe they're for things like Assassin's Creed Odyssey, etc.
When I said no proof, I was referring to Microsoft making a great chunk of change. There's been no evidence of that. There's a cost to giving away games for free. That $10 per month isn't 100% profit. It is paying for the 4+ years of development for SoT that they gave away. They're probably still in the negative on that.
SOT is a dud by all accounts. Terrible reviews. Twitch viewership on the decline. It peaked during beta and during launch, but it h...
Maybe you got disagrees because you have no proof? You think they're already profiting considering them giving away their dud SOT? So many people tried that on the free trial and realized it was crap. 4+ years development on that. They certainly didn't recoup those costs yet.
I'd assume not if they don't say so, unless it is their own studio.
