But no one is going to buy PS4 anymore because of no cross play with X1 and Switch!
/sarcasm
No I didn't make it sound like that. I never said the game should be easy. But you may need to make it easier for certain players (but it will still be difficult to them).
I guess you missed my point. I agree with what you say the goal of the game is... Soul-crushing difficulty.
If person A is a life-long gamer who excels at games. The game will still be difficult for them and enjoyable as is.
If person B is a casual gamer and i...
It is their choice, but I don't buy the argument.
Some people are good at playing games, but some aren't. Easy mode for one person could be the same experience as hard mode for a great player. Each could get the same enjoyment from the game.
The point is convincing people to buy your system. Here's what to expect in the long run.
Unethical? Really?
What kind of point is that? What are they without their best part? Why doesn't Rockstar count?
What is Microsoft without Windows?
What is Apple without iPhone?
So, it is a shame they release a game that was better than the first but you didn't buy it because of completely optional elements? The fact that they removed them from the game, but didn't have to adjust the game at all to compensate was just proof that they were 100% optional.
If you had bought the game on DAY 1 you could have had the exact same experience as if you bought it TODAY.
Well according to the other article, all Ubisoft games are GaaS. So, AC:Origins?
Nah I don't believe it. Sony can't control what these companies do on all platforms.
If the user buys a shopping cart on PS4, Epic knows it. Epic can give a free license to the same item on Switch account.
Epic could make this work if they wanted to. They can't force Sony to allow cross-play, but Epic could have a system in place to be able to use your same character on all systems.
1) You have your Epic account.
2) You have your PS4 Fortnite profile tied to your Epic account.
3) You create a Switch Fortnite profile tied to your Epic acocunt.
4) Epic could recognize any items you purchased on your PS4 Profile. It could copy them to Switch pr...
- Last of Us Remastered was $10 or less this month and April, February, January, November
- Bloodborne was $12 (complete edition) this month, free for Plus in March, $14 (complete edition) in December, $10 in November
- Ratchet and Clank was less than $10 in May, free for Plus in March
- SFV was $10 in March, $13 in March 2016, $10 in April 2016
And I'm done with you.
@KillBill, that's just a terrible analogy. Do you even know what "don't blame the messenger" even means?
If Sony believes in the long run this will be better for their business, then yes they should. They are a business. They calculate the costs of their decisions. If they feel they will make more money trying to force people to stay on the PS4 versus customers they may lose due to the lack of this feature... they will keep this policy.
I said it before.
If you judge E3 based on exclusive reveals (which I do and a lot do), Microsoft easily won.
If you judge E3 based on games (regardless of known or unknown), Sony easily won.
These games are very often on sale for even half this price.
TLOU constantly goes on sale for less than $10 FYI.
Sony doesn't put all their chips into a single game.
@KickSpinFilter
I don't buy that answer from Epic. Epic, if they wanted, could probably allow the user to carry their purchases/progress to a different profile. Sony can probably prevent actual crossplay, but I don't see how they are in control of the Epic profile.
They released a statement after E3 basically saying they'll share their game when it is ready.
Why are you all comparing Hellblade sales to SOT, SOD2 or even Detroit? Those games just came out.
