You guys need to stop all blaming the devs for a lack of creativity. If Sony added a third thumbstick on the back to control with your pinking... and no one used it... is that lack of creativity or just the devs ignoring something that isn't needed?
@joearc Please tell me why you need a mousepad when you have a full controller? If you play games on a PC, you don't use both a controller and mouse.
I honestly believe the only reason they added it was to make it so they could force you to buy new controllers instead of using your old DS3 controllers you might have already had.
Few games make use of it in any unique way.
Agree about the TouchPad. I think it is a gimmick and probably never should have been added. It is basically an enormous Select button.
I've been saying the same thing. 6TF is beast right now, but it won't be in 18 months. It also won't be as expensive as everyone keeps saying. Tech prices drop a lot in 18 months.
Plus and Live aren't pure profit by any means. There are networking costs. They also pay devs for the free games. They'll have to pay more when there are more subscribers.
It is more than just my opinion. It is what most think. There's a reason why they are destroying MS in sales. Highest rated exclusives. Game of the Year awards on a consistent basis.
Like I said, yes it may be a fact that MS spits their games out sooner after announced... but who cares? What advantage does that give to a gamer knowing that you will get a game soon after it is announced? Nothing in the long run.
I won't deny it, but who cares? Sony has more games and better games. It doesn't bother me that I might have to wait longer to get them. When all is said and done, Sony destroys MS in games.
So you don't think knowing what games might come out in 1-2 years is important? You don't think that is important to someone who is trying to decide what system there is?
Sony has already shown us what games are coming out this year. Why should they show them again in a presentation?
Very few people get motion sickness from a regular game. A majority of people get it from VR games... silly comparison there.
It isn't some major feat for a newly announced console to hit the top of the charts for a couple days. It is already #2.

They don't have a strategy to sell X1? Why the hell not? That means they aren't putting effort into satisfying X1 owners.

By that logic, if you only have an X1... every single game is exclusive if you don't have a PS4 or PC.
