I think it will sell ok to your hardcore GTA fan, altho I would have said I was one of those until the most recent fluff up of a GTA game.
You may even find people who havnt even completed the full game buying it, just to see if it offers something different and new

I was just pointing it out to someone on here what they said, I dont think lack of co-op is a negative atall, other games havnt been penalised for it. Bioshock perfect example, just single player yet one of the highest rated FPS of all time
They are referring to friendly A.I
and the reason its not a 10, is because they feel that lack of co-op is a negative (cant agree with that i'm afraid) and they feel that it has mediocre a.i. (even tho it is just with the friendlies), I personally do not think that justifies a .5 drop, but they do.
And I also think since the uproar people gave when GTA got 10's but it clearly didn't deserve it, sites must be getting stricter with dishing them out

they dont REALLY matter, there are other aspects of a game too...but, its undeniable that if you see wipeout HD in action that it wouldnt be as good if it wasn't 1080p 60fps.

Well what do you expect, with all of the positive PS3 and Blu Ray news, and the amazing Killzone 2 coverage there has to be some negative news otherwise its just not fair right? :)
I agree, they are in a great position. They're PSP sales are good, which also helps build the install base for their collaboration between PSP + PS3, they have an awsome line-up this year, they are selling faster than xbox360 (in the same time the console has been out) and have room to move for a price drop. Considering we are only year 2 of the consoles planned 10 year life - things are great.
I also believe other developers will see KZ2 and re-think their'PS3 is too hard' str...

We are really beginning to see/hear what the PS3 can do when it is developed for exclusively, when these guys share their engines we'll be a getting a great flow of outstanding titles
It can ruin a game if the game in question does not live up to the hype, however, judging by previews/reviews/vids and beta players this game DOES live up to the hype, so i would call this free advertising instead of over hyping. Its simple, if you have a PS3 and are remotely interested in FPS, get this.
You can also fully adjust sensitivity settings if you wish the crosshair (so to speak) movement to be fast
