This is good, and exactly what the BETA is for. But surely we won't get an article every time they release a patch?
My ranks have already been reset, doesn't matter though as it's only the BETA, we are playing it to help ND make the game as best they can, I'm not bothered about ranking up until full release
I can't believe people haven't been playing it because of the reset thing, it only does it when you stop playing the game - big deal?
It's a shame, I loved COD4 and I will no doubt love COD6, but, it will sell on the quality of COD4 regardless of whether its great or not - and games such as BF:BC 2 will probably get overshadowed

People need to understand what a BETA is.
It is a sample of a game that is put to users to test, so, there will be more maps, more options etc etc
People should also remember that if you are fortunate enough to get into the BETA, then it is your duty to report any issues you come across - that is the ONLY way ND wil get to hear about them and the ONLy way they will get fixed. You can't possibly say that GT5 won't have any of those features, there has not been a comprehensive list of features shown yet has there? we don't know about customization for example.
From what I have played of GT5P and seen of GT5, there is plenty of options in all aspects.

This does look very good, but GT5 does still look better, you only need to see the vids on a good resolution as intended to see it's just realism at it's best. That, packaged with the fact GT5 will now include WRC and Nascar and Le Mans is just unbeatable

I can't believe all the media are simply turning a blind eye to all of the short comings of this tech - altho I suppose its new toys the media like, and buzz, and that's what this is right now

You can tell, I'm in the BETA, when it does the intro at the start of co-op the game just pans back a bit and that's it, your in game - you cannot see the difference!
Still working on it, basically its saying:
They have already released one update, which has increased the kill count required in MP games, and also the score required for the plunder ones.
They are fully aware of the PS3 quit after each game issue, and matchmaking issues and are working on it to get the next update out
basically, doing exactly what the BETA is here to do
This is very addictive, you really should use all buildings, climbing etc etc to get the most out of the game, it is such good solid fun
