Why are people referring to the environments? the 'demo' people keep referring to, what actually was a competition and not representative of the final game was majorly compressed - in fact I don't know why I'm even justifying it as it looked great to me!
With the variety the PS3 exclusives offer, in all genres and a variety of different emotional, interactive involving games, I don't think Sony will be missing Halo...
These graphics are incredible, and really showing what the PS3 can do in the right hands.
3 years in and we are seeing games of this level, every year just gets better and better, cannot wait to see UC3, Killzone 3, Infamous 2, last Guardian, GT5
I love the people trying to downplay this.
It looks epic, and you only need to watch the many many videos to see how good it looks in action, and yes, gameplay videos too.

In my opinion, I just can't see reason to buy a 360 anymore. I mean, if yo have a 360 then there are loads of exclusives, and I mean GREAT exclusives for PS3 that if you are gamer you would probably want to play, and that's without the additional attraction of blu-ray, 3D etc...
However, on the other hand, if you have a PS3, what is there to attract you to a 360? what true exclusives does it have that are not on PC?

NPD week doesn't mean anything to most people, as to most people NPD does not equal the world. Worldwide figures are what matter to the respective companies the most.
On topic, it's good to see Sony really doing well after all of the negative media it received at launch and through the first couple of years. It is really on a roll now with some great exclusives under it's belt and already a great line up of more exclusives for this coming year
Yer it's a shame we get such a poor FREE update with demos, videos, expansion packs EVERY WEEK

unfortunately the 360 doesn't have 1080p cut scenes and better quality uncompressed audio.
It's also been said that there was significant amounts of content missed out of the game, it's interesting to wander what the game could have been had it of been exclusive still

The videos at the link are excellent, even in low quality. In the first vid around 12 seconds that scene could easily be racing on the tv, it looks so good
and only in Japan.
Talk about blown out of all proportion, yet in the same day splinter cell is delayed officially for the second time and do we see a million articles about it....no

Funny thing is I wander how many of the people moaning in here are from Japan, this delay only affects Japan.
Even off screen and such a low quality, it looks sooooo good, the lighting on the interior is amazing
Whether I agree with the fact it's ruined or not is personal opinion, but it's amazing how everybody can always do better than the pro's that are paid to do it for a living
