On the 360, I'm looking forward to Halo 4, Forza Horizon, Fable: The Journey, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, Trials Evolution, Fez, Dust: An Elysian Tale, Minecraft, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and Deadlight.
On the PS3, I'm looking forward to Journey, The Last of Us, Starhawk, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Agent, and The Last Guardian.
So it would look like the 360 is the winner for me, but you're forgetting multiplatform games:
I think I speak for most when I say: "Who the hell cares about 3D?!"
That would be great, but it won't happen. There was no gameplay of GTA IV released even up to the day of launch, at least not from Rockstar. Only in video reviews and leaked footage.
He was simply ignorant.
@DA_SHREDDER
If you are so blinded by fanboyism to not see how good this looks, then all I can say is I feel sorry for you.
The gamers, obviously. But only if their side won. Otherwise they pretend not to care, just like you. What a coincidence!
I use Xbox LIVE for hours every day and am not bothered by ads in even the slightest way. Seriously, how do these dashboard ads negatively affect me? I honestly can't remember any specific ads because I don't even look at them. It's not like an ad you are forced to watch before your show on Hulu or your video on YouTube. You have really got to be desperate to attempt to bash Xbox LIVE because of its ads.
Only a couple hundred games are coming out this year. It's really getting bad.
PS3 users complain about the supposed lack of 360 exclusives, then when new exclusives are announced they complain that they are being milked. There is no winning with these people.
The 3 highest rated racing games of this gen, according to Metacritic:
92 - Forza Motorsport 3
91 - Forza Motorsport 4
90 - Forza Motorsport 2
Funny how that works out, no?
I can just imagine a console race between Valve, Microsoft, and Nintendo; the new "big three".
This is the first time I'm excited for an Assassin's Creed game since ACII. The series was really getting tired and repetitive with annual releases (I pretty much forced myself through Brotherhood and Revelations), but ACIII looks to change the formula in a big way and I'm very excited about the unique setting. This all sounds VERY promising!
And that it will remain.
I honestly would give up every game on that list just to see GTA V release in 2012. This is the most hyped I have been for a game since GTA IV, and GTA IV is my favorite game of this gen.
118 days and counting with no new GTA V info...
If the Vita needs to rely on the US for sales, then it truly is doomed. The PSP mainly sold in Japan.
At least they don't hand out 9's like candy like a certain site I will Go without Naming.
It's pathetic that anyone would click "Agree" under stage88's comment.
It scared me half to death. My heart sank when I read the title of this article. I thought Rockstar would actually try to deliver something terribly shallow like Saints Row. I was so relieved to see it was a joke. I know Rockstar's games are about the experience and creating a living, breathing open world with meaningful characters and stories.
Yes, it is definitely VERY underrated, but what you gonna do? Enjoy the hell out of the game!
And this game is #5 on the pre-order charts!
