Wow, great sales for the Xbox 360 and the 360 version of Mass Effect 3! I never thought it would do one million in its first week in the US alone.
I agree it has very fluid gameplay. But the insane attention to detail down to the way Drake walks or stumbles and pushes off a wall really bring it to life. It feels so natural. When I play Mass Effect 3 and see Shepard's incredibly stiff gait, I long for Uncharted's fluid animations.
Uncharted would have to be my second favorite platform exclusive franchise this gen, only behind Gears of War, which takes the lead for me because of its incredibly satisfying and visce...
According to Metacritic, Halo 3 is higher rated than two of the three Uncharted titles though. And if you're going by the whole franchise, the first Halo is rated higher than Uncharted 2. This is just to show that Halo is not all about the sales, but it certainly has the quality to match.
Congrats to the Uncharted series though, because it is by far the best PS3 exclusive franchise and it absolutely deserves these sales.
Funny how it seems the only people who think Microsoft has "bailed" on their fans are the PS3 fanboys who have never even owned an Xbox 360, but have a deep, illogical hatred for the plastic box. Actual 360 owners are simply enjoying their consoles while the other side seems to be trying to convince people that it's impossible to enjoy any console other than their own.

Then how did Reach go on to sell 10 million copies if Halo is now irrelevant? LOL, seriously...? If you call Halo irrelevant, then there is not a single 360 exclusive that is relevant, and certainly no PS3 exclusive that is even close to relevant. Aside from Mario, Halo is without a doubt the biggest platform exclusive. I'm sorry if you're too blinded by fanboyism and denial to see that.

Physics are very important to me in games. I love Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption more than any other open world games, and a huge reason for that is because of the Euphoria physics engine. It makes interacting with the world infinitely more rewarding to me. Other open world games such as Saints Row are nowhere near as fun for me because of their poor and dated physics engines.

I highly doubt Microsoft will reveal the next Xbox at E3 when they are coming off of their strongest year yet. Grand Theft Auto V is the only game that would make me buy a brand new console just to play it. But it's already clear from the trailer that the game will be on current gen consoles. The game's graphics look great, but not next-gen great. And I doubt they would port it to next gen consoles and have an inferior-looking product. When a GTA title appears on the 720/PS4, it will be built from the ground up for those consoles.

You must be pretty desperate to make numbers up off the top of your head. Even VGChartz only shows the PS3 selling 25,000 units last week in Japan, so unless the 360 sold -40,000 units, you're way off. Besides, this is the time of the year when the PS3 is stronger. Every year it's the same story: the PS3 outsells the 360 by small amounts for the first two thirds of the year, then the holiday season comes and the 360 pulls far ahead, and completely wipes away the PS3's yearly lead....

Good riddance! Though it's weird that he would leave in the middle of a project that he's so passionate about. Watching his interviews about "Fable: The Journey", he had a childlike excitement about the game and breaking new ground with Kinect.
I wish I still owned a GameCube or Wii to play it. It is my favorite Zelda game. I have such fond memories of playing it.
