The newer colors (pink, light blue) are supposed to have less issues with stick-drift, right?
Pretty disappointed that Ghost of Tsushima remains very expensive.
I’d worry more about pricing your games at 70-80 bucks and keeping those prices high for a longer time being the thing that will ‘kill’ (lessen) single game purchases.
Ghost of Tsushima has been out for almost 2 years, got very good reviews but not ‘outstanding’, but even in today’s new ‘Days of Play’ ‘sale’, it’s still 80(!) euro.
It seems like more and more they want games to ge considered a ‘luxury’ these days, to be enjoyed by the few who can afford t...
People are ‘leaving’ because they joined when they could take advantage of that ‘conversion deal, where you could stack 3 years of Gold, then convert to GP Ultimate for just 1$/1€. LOTS of people took that deal, because it was a great deal, but for many, now that subscription is ending and they won’t be renewing for the regular prices.
In short, a lot of GP members were members because it was a fantastic bargain to just upgrade their Gold into GP, but they think regular GP ...
DokeV is gonna blow Pokemon away in terms of graphics. No idea how that game will be, good, bad, mediocre, I don’t know. But graphically it’s gonna put GameFreak/Nintendo to shame, obviously also because Nintendo chooses to stick with older/weaker hardware, which limits their developers in their creative vision.
The article states Tekken 7 might be the best fighter currently available on Xbox, but leaves out important information that it never takes advantage of the Xbox hardware. It never got any kind of patch/boost/upgrade for the more powerful Xbox consoles, meaning it still runs at 720p I believe, resulting in a very blurry look.
Truly wish more devs would respect their products and customers enough to address issues such as these.
I’ll wait for an affordable complete edition. Their DLC-shenanigans ruined all interest for me for now.
It’s gonna be very difficult for any contender to defeat Smash at its own game, considering they have perfected the formula over the past 20+ years orso.
I do feel a company like Capcom has the characters in its rich history to make something similar, although I feel they would be wise to pour that rich history of amazing characters and worlds into the Power Stone concept, so you’d cherry-pick the very best of Capcom’s many MANY great characters and stages/worlds, and build...
Kinda wish these game publishers/companies would just focus on, you know, making great games.
Nothing to rethink; Just give us an actual Battlefield game.
We don’t need ‘heroes’ or ‘specialists’, we don’t need ‘perks’ or kill-streak rewards, we don’t need another Battle Royale game, we don’t need 200+ folks running around on a ridiculously huge map.
Just give us the Battlefield experience we knew and loved. Conquest, 5/6 flags, 4 well-balanced classes, fun and gorgeous maps, and 32 vs 32 folks max.
That’s it. That’s all a Battl...
Would love a current-gen new Power Stone, which could be absolutely amazing if they’re ambitious about it.
A new Street Fighter Alpha game would be nice as well.
Except it’s not an Arkham game. Hence why they dropped the Arkham and this is called Gotham Knights
Not sure how to feel about this game. The announcement was pretty underwhelming when they showed the gameplay/concept. I love the Arkham games because they were well-made SP action adventures, and this seemed to focus more on the MP co-op aspect. Graphically it didn’t impress, arguably looking worse than Arkham Knight, but obviously Arkham Knight looked amazing, and still do...
They already lost me with their DLC greed BS planned for this game.
Fantastic studio, done dirty by Sony sadly when they first killed the excellent Driveclub, then killed the studio.
Not a big fan of the NFS games so kinda skeptical about this announcement, but let’s hope they can bring their magic and do something amazing with it.
I think if you just nail the gameplay aspect so it’s always just fun to skate around, do flips, tricks, getting in a flow, and you build gorgeous fun cities to skate in, it will always be a success. Just fill that world with lots of variety in its areas, lots of stuff/missions to do, and make you feel part of it, and you could simply focus on new locations every year.
Will Skate 4 be a success!? I don’t know. It’s EA. What we want from a game and what they’ll give you are o...
There really should just be - 1 - edition, which should be the complete package. This non-stop greed just needs to end.
Decisions like these only accomplish 1 thing with me, which is that this game went from a Day 1 Purchase to a “I’ll wait for a steep discount if they ever offer a complete package”.
Leave it to Sega to finally do something good with Sonic again, everyone happy and excited, only to then steer it straight into the wall at the very last corner, because … Sega. Sigh.
They will all try, and we will always remember. Their choice, their consequences.
I really wish game developers would just focus on making new games, instead of shifting their attention into whichever new ‘innovation’ they think will be the next ‘big thing’ …
Cautiously optimistic about Street Fighter 6. I (mostly) like the new design-style for the graphics, backgrounds are looking promising (although colors look a bit too muted for my taste), and the character-design for 6 with both the new characters as well as their outfits/‘look’, seems miles better than both 4 & 5.
They’ll probably kill my mild excitement with their usual greedy DLC plans, as all fighting games do nowadays, but still, it has potential.
