Nintendo has something like 20 billion dollars dude. They are fine.
The real question is why Microsoft with their tons of cash can't make any games, nintendo has released 5 first party games so far this year (not counting 3ds which boosts that even further) and has more on the way. Has microsoft released a SINGLE game this year?

I've stated many times here, I don't hate xbox, just dont find value in their system. Ive always said there are 2 games i want but werent enough to warrant getting a system over. Those 2 games were Sunset Overdrive, and We Happy Few... xbox is now down to 1 game.
I got a switch 3 weeks ago and just this summer have 3 must have exclusives with Zelda, Mario+ Rabbids and Golf Story.

actually NES was gen 3 not gen 1. Gen one was the Odessy 1 and the pong consoles. Gen 2 was Atari, Commadore and the like, Gen 3 was NES. 4 SNES. 5 PS1 and N64. 6 PS2 and xbox. 7 PS3 and wii. 8 includes ps4 x1 wiiu... and also includes their improvements, the PRO X1 and SWITCH. SWITCH is still 8th gen.
Honestly I think we are at the end of the generations and classifying generations in the classic sense is at an end. Both the Playstation and Xbox will probably never again have a gen...

I think it will sell really well, but no way it will outsell the PS4. Ps4 is guaranteed to pass 100 million, especially once they get down to 199 (which should be sometime in late 2018) The switch is awesome and will sell well but it will sell probably 60 million, maybe 70 if they really get the whole portable market to come over. Which is an amazing Turnaround from 13mil WIIUs and will definitely outsell every Nintendo home console besides the WII.

WHO CARES. Honestly, I don't get the appeal. Also in a competitve game it seems like it would create an imbalance, Different amounts of input lag, though minute would lead to complaining about it not being an even playing field.

You are wrong. You have to stop thinking of it in the classic sense, that has already been shown to be an archaic system. Now we have mid console upgrades with the PS4 and X1, and the switch is pretty much a do-over for Nintendo as they abandoned the WiiU. This isn't a successor to the WiiU, it is a replacement
