Hot shots golf next month has better mp than any Xbox exclusive. I put 300hrs in it on ps3 and will be getting ps plus just for that game.
As far as shooters go, uncharted has an online mode that seems popular, I just wish they'd make a MAG 2 as that is the only SHOOTER I've ever liked, don't like halo, gearz, or even killzone
If they make 1mil console's and the console costs 250$ each. There is a 250mil pile of systems in a warehouse. After the failure of WiiU it makes sense that they are money contious. The factories that produce them make a certain amount, they set the amount by contract, not sure bow long a contract lasts but could be a year. With Apple competing for parts adjusting the contract could be difficult
Who buys a Nintendo console for COD?they buy it for Nintendo games, which a ton of great ones are already out there to be enjoyed. I love my ps4 but name 40 games worth playing on it. You can't. Quality over quantity. Most gamers are like myself and buy 2-5 games a year, and yes most 3rd party is rubbish. For every Bioshock there are 100 Troll and I games.
The waiting mentality is justified. For me I need a couple games that blow me away before I'll bite. With mario + rabbids on top of Zelda and also steamworld dig 2 I feel the system is worth it to me. With the x1 I still am waiting, sunset overdrive and we happy few both look good but are not enough and the waiting turned out to be the right move as Microsoft has already moved on from gaming to now just selling boxes
I admit to bashing it a great deal when announced, but now I'm checking the stores trucks everyday waiting for them to get stock in (been 2 months since the store has gotten a shipment) mario + rabbids sold me on it
NO. They've had these for damn near a decade, they are cheap garbage with bad emulation and often filled with garbage shareware pc games to round out the number of included games.
Sea of thieves I can understand if that is your thing, but State of Decay 2 looked like garbage. It looked like a ps2 game graphically and the gameplay had no unique "gimmick" for lack of a better word to help with the zombie fatigue
agree about ff10. I hate action RPGS. does anyone know a good rpg with a similar battle system as FF10, i'd really like to find another like that game as for me that was the only JRPG I ever really got into, the old 16bit graphics turn me off when it is story focused as I can't get into the characters in that way when they are blocky sprites. FF10 had graphics that were "good enough" for me to invest in the characters while having a battle system that was simple yet offered ...
I work in retail. The store I work at hasn't gotten a switch in over 2 months. I've seen 1 shipment of 5 come in since launch and that didn't even make it to the shelves as co workers swiped them all up.
I see some of these games on the app store. they all look identical and boring based on the screens they provide that always show art that isn't representative of the game or often even the genre.

We have less games because games take far longer. 1 to 2 year dev times have now turned into 3 to 5 year times. So it is only logical that yield has been halved
It isn't "admirable". He has literally done nothing to make it appealing there (or here) except empty words.
When is the last time they released a JRPG, not to mention the fact that almost all 3rd party ones have skipped them.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but to me this was the most exciting game at E3 and convinced me to buy a Nintendo system which I haven't truly embrased since the NES days. (had a wii which quickly was given to my lil' sister and had a gamecube that only ever got played for like 3 games)
The game is xcom with personality, who could have a problem with that, except you of course...
been waiting for Everybody's Golf for 4 years. In the original teasers for PS4 their was a tiny spot in the image that showed a hot shots club doing one of those perfect fire ball hits. So I assumed it was coming in the first year or 2 of the system... The wait is almost over though.
Very unimpressed.
MS needs to stop talking and DO. They have been saying they are expanding their first party lineup for 4 years now. In that time all we've seen is it get smaller, not larger.

well we all know personal anecdotes don't count for much in an objective debate but... Mario and Rabbids has cemented my desire to buy a switch, and as soon as I see one on a store shelf I will be rushing to get it. Exclusives matter.

I'm pretty sure diddy Kong racing as well as dk country are fully owned by Nintendo. Rare made then yes, but they don't own the ip, Nintendo does.
If I want a sandbox I'll get gta5. This game looks far too generic for me and very 90s. I'm sure this has its audience but I'm not it. Ms needs to broaden their appeal as there are games I want, like sunset overdrive and we happy few, but those 2 aren't justification enough to get an Xbox. Crackdown would be fine if it wasn't all that ms has, but when you're banking on 1 game... Crackdown just doesn't cut it
