Yeah this. I'm happy to xbox get a little shot in the arm. but the 4k bluray player gets blown way out of proportion. I seriously doubt that many people have this grand collection of 4k blurays laying around, heck, not even that many 4k TVs.
It's a nice addition to the xbox brand mind you. But it's not the game changer their fanboys are making it out to be.
Microsoft DOES release accurate figures. Over 30 billion zombies killed, 17 trillion bullets fired.. the list goes on and on.
Gotta be honest, that one made me laugh
then
Witcher 3 for $13? talk about bang for your buck.
It's pronounced "Jina".
Actually this seems more anti-Bethesda to me. If you have rave reviews it actually helps to build the buzz of your game which leads to more sales.
Whether true or not, not allowing for pre launch reviews carries a negative stigma which cause people to hold off on getting said game day one. And from everything I read, that first two weeks is the sweet spot for sales, if you have someone who waits on the review, they might end up spending that cash on another game, waiting on a sal...
Oh hi iPhones.
@badboy: I think he meant to reply to cindy-rella above
@bg116, deal's obviously dead now, but here you go:

It was $280 plus 4 free games.
It wasn't meant to be, but then it started selling out all over and MS had to up production. there were a whole bunch of articles about it.
You know N4G community, I think a lot of us would be just fine if we never see another article from pachter again.
Said it was aimed at esports players, not mass market like the elite was. Only reason I bring that up is I'm guessing it might not show up at your local gamestop and even if it does, it might cost an arm and a leg.
I think it was actually a PC controller
Probably just VR skeptics and xbox fanboys. xbox fans are cool with it, but the fanboys just see psvr as something sony has over MS, therefore hate anything positive about it. The xbox fans realize that the better psvr does, the better Xbox's vr support will be when it launches. As for the VR skeptics, well, can't do much about that. If they feel VR is taking the industry in a bad direction, then any good news for VR is bad news for them.
It's what they expected I believe. But still, to get half of the vive's lifetime sales in one country, in one week, and not even the country with the biggest sales potential... impressive.
@sweendog. Bravo man.
As gamers we should hope VR as a whole succeeds. Not just our preferred company that has a headset. VR is in it's infancy, hoping one company fails in their attempt due to bias has the potential to rob us all of VR's future.
At this stage, we should be hoping rift takes off, or psvr takes off, but rather we should hope VR as a whole takes off.
This. I loved the sharpshooter. from the moment psvr was announced I thought of two things, P.T. and using the sharpshooter to play a new resistance. pipe dreams I know, but the sharpshooter seemed like a perfect fit for psvr
From the picture though, that second joystick seems to be for your face buttons, square, O, triangle and X. If that's the case, the sharpshooter can do that.
Genuine question. Ask yourself this, how many people you know, friends, family coworkers own a 4K TV? Of those, how many have or are planning to have a 4K bluray collection in the immediate to near future? And of those, how many follow gaming closely enough to even know about the X1s having a 4k bluray player.
