bingo!
I hear you segagamer. But keep in mind that lately MS hasn't had the best record when it comes to statements about their hardware. with all the talk of Kinect will always be part of xbox one, can't flip a switch for always online, no interest in a xbox 1.5.
Not that I'd hold it against them if they did come out with scorpio exclusive titles, they are in business to make money after all. They're not going to leave millions in revenue sitting on the table b...
You mean I can get Batman Arkham VR for 11 cents off the normal price? sign me up!
Well as for the reasons: saves not carrying over seems like a waste of a reason. I'd wager it's a very small percentage of people that bought the game, started it, and either sold or damaged the disc. I guess maybe there are people that would buy it for the expansions but buying them separately is still cheaper. and this is also countered by a new trophy list.
Saying it's a massive time commitment doesn't seem right either, not when you praise it for the value pro...
you mean great thus far?
Not yet. I've been waiting on one myself. I got two DS4's. But I like having a mix of original and third party controllers.
Though there is that third party one that's about to release. the one for the esports players. There was two of them, and I remember one having the xbox layout. Razor made one, but I think it was the other one.
EDIT: Here it is. probably going to be pricey though.

Makes me wonder what Sony will do with the PS4 Pro. it's brand new, surely they can't afford to discount it already. My guess is they'll plop on a older first party title or two, maybe a 3 mother PS+ sub.
The extra controller is the star of the deal to me. those games might go as low as $5 or even be a GWG title down the road, but controllers almost never have a meaty sale, about $10 or $15 off is the lowest I've ever seen them.
They're not. at least not in any significant way. I'm sure they've made the calculation that it's more important to get the device in people's homes above making a profit on it. I mean software is where the meat of gaming revenue comes from.
So my point was that resolution was only important in our circles where we go hunting for gaming news. and your counter point is a gamespot survey? I honestly don't see those parents and single genre gamers (the ones who only buy COD and battlefield or EA sports games) grabbing a PS4 because of resolution. They probably don't even know there's a difference. Now your gamers that frequent the IGN's and gamespots out there, yeah.
I don't see Xbox as rapidly turni...
@tee_bag "if there's even a 1% chance he's our enemy we have to take it as an absolute certainty."
Much like batman in that horrible movie, your math skills aren't at the top of their game.
There's not a thousand VR games out yet.
Dang Phil what happened? you used to be one of the good ones. this sounds more like something Reggie would say.
You spin me right round baby right round.
@donthate It's the same coin just a different side. that's the vocal minority. resolution was only an issue to in circles like ours where we go hunting for gaming news. of the 70 million current gen console owners it's a very small percentage that even know that much about the differences between the consoles much less factor that in. The vast majority buy a console based more on things like price, friends' console, and games. For all the resolution-gate and all that oth...
Only thing I can think of there is maybe this design cost less to manufacture. If they make $5 or $10 more per console, I can see them swapping it out.
Nothing new really though, pretty much every console in recent memory has a slim version that launches. I've never really viewed slim versions as upgrades. PS3's slim was actually a downgrade as it took away backwards compatibility. I've always seen slims as replacements.
the vanilla PS4 isn't active from my understanding. They said the slim is replacing it. what you're seeing on shelves is what's left from the warehouses. Same thing is happening with the original X1.
The market is a funny thing. everyone and their brother thought that the Xbox 1S was being sent out to die but it turned out to be a success. So, I'd say hold off on speculation and see what the true cookie crumbling looks like.
as for 4K blu ray, I don't think that's nearly as big a deal as people on here make it out to be. I said this once before but I'll repeat it here. Ask yourself how many people you know, friends, family, co-workers, own a 4K tv. ...
$10 off a $60 game isn't what I'd call "crazy cheap"
@ donthate, give it a rest dude.
