But the devs didn't do that because the PS4 was more powerful. they did that because they saw the PS4 version of games selling more so they developed with it in mind first. Just like did with the 360. Just look at how broken so many PC games end up being and if you're talking power, PC wins hands down.
As for the "power doesn't matter" that point was missed on the xbox side. They took it as PS4 was selling more because it was more powerful, but it wasn'...
Maybe don't call others stupid when you yourself don't know the difference between "than" and "then".
I doubt that. they'll choose the platform they feel will sell the most copies as their primary. Why make sure your X1X version is the one that runs perfectly when that'll only account for such a small percentage of the people that bought your game?
Yeah same. I don't mind dropping a few bucks to help reward that kind of dedication. if that doesn't show that you're passionate about your project, I don't know what does.
Yeah, and Mike's awesome. At least after the crap hits the fan, before that he's a bit of a d-bag.
@generic, yes but the IGC wasn't available all through that first half of PS3's life cycle.
The PS3 selection has got to be running thin by now. time to swap out one of those for a VR game or another PS4 game.
How's games with gold treating you?
Oh it's all good. Doesn't bother me at all. It looks like I'll end up getting a switch and I'll enjoy my games regardless of what random people on the internet think.
It's a no buy for me but thankfully I'm seeing more and more games on switch that have my interest.
Question: If that's how you feel, why bother coming into the comments section about reviving a franchise from years ago? just to pick a fight?
@rime then fair is fair, I assume you saw no issue with early xbox one policies? that was just business as well.
I need to disagree. If you have to use a MS platform to play the game, then it's still an exclusive in my mind. Much like if you want to play the last of us you have to go through playstation. So to me, a title like gears 4 is an MS exclusive, but not quantum break since you can get it on steam. So even if I can play uncharted on my PC through PS Now, by the same logic, I still consider it a playstation exclusive. I think what we all really mean by these terms is just "you can...
Agreed. getting upset about them not including this is the same as getting upset that it was included in mass effect. Just let the devs create what they want and buy it if you want to play it.
Very simple to me. if they feel PS4 will break 100 million, then PS5 won't release until that milestone has been met.
I agree moldy. It doesn't make financial sense for Sony to do it. their point of view, which they will never just come out and say, is if you want to game with your friends, they need to buy a PS4. they're in first place, by a lot, so that's a smart move for them. But for the gamers it's not. A game like minecraft I'll back them up on as I can see them not wanting PS owners to sign onto xbox. but a third party title like rocket league? come on. And I don't think...
That would be good. crash may have started out as an exclusive, but it's been multiplat for a while. going from exclusive to multiplat is fine by me, but the other way around I'm not on board with. crash has fans that game on xbox, keeping those games away from them wouldn't be right. Only time that makes sense to me is a bayonetta situation where the game wouldn't have been made otherwise.
What if I just want to play her story, witcher 1, pillars of eternity? do I need to have the latest and greatest to play those games? I got a decent PC, I don't need to run watch dogs 2 in 8K to enjoy the game. I just want to play games. I don't need to max out settings in order to do that. Further, I didn't say it wasn't important. I said it wasn't the most important. For me it goes plot/chracters first, gameplay second, graphics third. you honestly think someone ...
No you didn't mention it. I was just looking out for you in case that was your plan. Play anywhere is awesome, what I was talking about is just a limitation of it that the majority don't quite know about.
As for the consoles, yeah hooking up 20 consoles might be a bit much.
"how could it fail when it's 40% stronger than any console..."
because power isn't everything. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think it will fail. But I don't think saying it's immune to failure because it has a power advantage is a very sound line of thought.
