Ryse was cool enough. Just have to take it in context, it was a show piece much like the order was. Games like that are really just there to show off what the console can do around launch.

But Spiderman doesn't use guns, so it won't even be anywhere near 3 million on xbox. :P

Didn't know that one. Amazing the legs some of these consoles have.

@shadowlee, I bought my PS4 on blind faith that Sony would deliver new ip and some (then) current favorites, and they did, like they always do.
3rd party titles outnumber 1st party my a large margin, so of course the majority of title we own will end up being 3rd party. Now better questions to ask would be what 10 or so current gen games are your favorites, which games did you buy day 1 or close to it, and why did you buy your primary console.
This mentality you have th...

Dang that sucks. Being a big fan of the trilogy, and even the spin off titles with Wax, I was really hoping for this to be good. Well, hopefully someone picks it up.

Yeah no kidding, when a console that old gets a game that's releasing on it's grandson, you know it's on a whole other level. (seriously, fifa 14 released on PS2.)

heh, I platinumed the witcher 3 twice. and did a new game plus run where I did every side quest and cleared every question mark. But then a game like yakuza, I finished and never picked back up. For me it just varies from game to game how much time I put into it.

Yeah but in the west we suffer from the opposite. for us it's always the original was better than the remake/reboot. or when talking "of all time" we feel obligated to choose something from the past. And I've found that a lot of that has to do with a fear of choosing something current or recent will get your opinion viewed as invalid.

It's just what they wish. despite what we've seen and heard and all signs pointing to major 3rd party games going the checkerboard route on both pro and 1x, they still believe the "true 4k" line. most likely it'll just end up being first party titles doing true, as in native, 4k.

@becuz, yeah Lavitz. played that for the first time as a teenager and that one got me.

@phoenix. Yes you're right. For some reason I thought only the PS3 sold more in Europe. Sorry, I was working with bad info.

Yeah but even being within striking distance in the time where smartphones are as common place as they are now with the support they get... it's still quite the feat.

On top of that, The X1X is meant for gamers that already have an X1 and want to upgrade. If you only have an xbox, the smarter play, to me at least, would be to take that 500 and buy a ps4 slim and switch and expand the games available to you by a huge margin.

I disagree on it being too expensive. It's a heck of a deal when you look at what's under the hood. Now there not being a good enough reason for casuals, ps4 only owners run of the mill xbox fans to buy one is another matter. It's too expensive... only way I'd see it that way is if MS was looking to take back lots of market share from Sony, but they've said that's not the purpose. the X1X is more a love note to their hardcore fans.

I would think PC numbers as less strong dollar wise than they are units sold wise due to things like steam sales, though I may be wrong. Lord knows that's also where you'll find the most pirating, and I'm sure that plays a negative role on PC sales also.

NA was always Sony's main territory if you look at it as where they sell the most consoles. If you're looking at it from a marketshare point of view, then yes I think it becomes Europe, as NA is more xbox land as far as last gen goes anyway and Japan is split with Nintendo. But Europe I don't think Sony has much competition (excluding UK who no one seems to count as part of Europe when talking gaming territories for some reason.)

@ darth, as I told DJ way up higher, that's not as impressive as you may think. X1 was leagues ahead of the 360, and that was with the 360 being basically unopposed by playstation and with RROD in the first year ish. The fact that the X1 blew such a massive lead should tell you that it's dropping like a stone. In total sales the 360 is just barely ahead but if you look at the trend from vgchartz, month after month the 360 has been out selling the X1. Meaning the X1 is only in stri...
