More variety yes. Better depends on the individual. Majority of PC exclusives consist of smaller indie titles and free to play games. Look at the Top played games on Steam. DOTA, CS GO and League of Legends. When it comes down to it there is nothing on PC exclusively that can compare to a game like The Last of us.
With 30 million plus consoles sold it should be easy to sell 1.5 million.
You know what's funny. How come this wasn't such a debate last gen when Sony did the exact same thing.
@MikleDemi So your solution to save money is to buy a mid range PC.
He could be right. From what I'm hearing they want to keep the price of the PS4 down to make the Playstation VR the cheapest option for consumers. Playstation VR needs to sell since the company put a lot of time and money into it.
One of the main reasons I love my Vita. People love to shit on it but it's a feature rich device.
PC consumers vote with their wallet. When the top games played on PC are free to play and indie titles what conclusion do you think the devs are going to come too. Games that are built to take full advantage of hardware like Crysis don't sell amazing. And lets be honest majority of PC players have mid to low end rigs and laptops. Not to say that if console wasn't in the picture that devs wouldn't take PC more series. But PC consumers are also to blame.
What makes you feel like Tomb Raider is a survival game?
Titanfall 2 is going to be on PS4.
Lets just replace power with money.
On top of that this list doesn't have any or the VR titles.
Sony is doing everything right so far. By signing on with tons of developers. Having a peripheral that works with a console almost 30 million people own. Making the VR 120hz so you don't get sick. Making the screen hover over your face for compatibility and ease of use with glasses. I can go on and on.
Hololens doesn't even work with the Xbox One as of right now. Also the dev kits are 3000 dollars.
Playsatation VR is Virtual reality vs the Xbox One Oculus support. Which needs a 1000 dollar PC to run at minimal specs and is VC. Which stand for virtual cinema. So you will play your games streaming from your Xbox on a big screen in a room. Far from what Playstation VR is doing.
It would makes games unbalanced. Like playing a racing game against someone that has a steering wheel. It's an unfair advantage to those who use these controllers. And get ready to see more people doing cheap tactics like drop shot. Or being able to shot weapons at a faster rate than people who just have a regular controller.
I do game on PC and this is exactly why I said what I said. Closed ecosystem has its good and bad. Having everyone with the same input device is one that I would say is a positive.
I vote no. It splits the ecosystem and gives an unfair advantage to those who have controller. Right now majority of players are on an even playing ground unless they spend a lots of money on a scuff. I want to play and know that some got me because they're better not because they have a handicap.
He should do a comparison of the game installs of PS4 and XBox One.
I know that. I don't even understand why they are able to do so but it will go a far way if Gamestop is promoting it like the DLC in gamestop only content.
A question to the PC gamers since PC has the bigger library what exclusive AAA PC games are you playing? And the Witcher is on console now so that doesn't count.
