.....What online??
If getting exclusive 3rd party games or exclusive content is anti consumer then exclusives in general would also be anti consumer. Sony, Nintendo,PC, Mobile and Xbox should make their games for all platforms then.

1.Just an example of BC
2.Steam takes 30 percent of the overall sale while console only take 7 percent. So they are taking more from the dev in order to give the service for free. Also steam rarely develops games. The money they continue to get goes to the bank while there fans have been asking for half life and left for dead for years now.
3.You do know they don't make contracts with all exclusive ps4 games right. Some devs come because of hardw...

1.Backwards compatibility has been known to take a lot of time any money. Microsoft talked about this when realeasing BC. And must be harder for Sony since the PS3 the cell architecture. Sony decided to invest into new studios and games instead of backwards compatibility that most don't even use.
2.Charging for online in the console space was introduced by Microsoft. And Sony figured out a way to at least give gamers monthly games for 3 of thei...
So Sony isn't gamer friendly because they don't Microsoft's Cross Network Play which puts Xbox Live on PS4 & Backwards compatibility. And that's your opinion and right to think that. But Honestly I don't think that majority of gamers that buy the platform care about that.
They've been that for me since the initial Xbox One stance of always online and trying to kill used games market. If that doesn't say it all I don't know what will.
Sony has no issue with cross platform play. They have issues with Microsoft's cross network play.
It would be nice for them to have a 4K option even if it was in the works.
Biggest problem for the Xbox One X is the Xbox One S. The S has a UHD player and up scales games to 4K for 250 maybe even 200 when the X comes out.
I don't think that Sony will put Xbox Live in any way shape or form on the PS. The only reason why Nintendo will is because they don't have a competing online in 2017.
Here you go. Bye. http://kotaku.com/5813740/i...
If the platforms didn't have exclusives what would set them apart?
Ask and ye shall receive. "Microsoft won't let Sony players play against them," Rodberg said, before suggesting we change the topic to something less sensitive.

And what Sony wanted was actual cross play not this putting Xbox Live on other platforms crap Microsoft is trying to push.
Whats the actual performance gap for Comfortably faster?
The door has Xbox Live written in big bold letters.
Nintendo Switch is console gaming’s best hope. Yeah this guy has no agenda or bias.
There is a difference between Microsoft's cross network and traditional cross platform play. Cross Network play is one network in this case Xbox live running on multiple platforms to play online together.
Microsoft's Cross Network play involves putting Xbox Live on other platforms. Microsoft could have just done Cross Platform play that has been around for years.
The Xbox doesn't need just any game. It needs system seller games. Games that will be bigger and can replace Gear and Halo which are declining in sales wise each iteration.
