People are also buying it for entertainment.
Lets talk about the things the Vita got right over the Switch
-Not having to pay to play online on a handheld.
-OLED Screen.
-Party chat with PS4.
-Can actually fit in your pocket.
-Hardware wise is bulletproof.
-Had a good amount of feature day one
-Does more than just play games
I can go on and on.
I didn't know that minimal amount of voice acting was the future of blockbuster games
It's not organized anymore and delete all.
I love how people just say Zelda is a better game without giving any reason or factual evidence on how it's better.
How are these games not remotely the same. One is a action RPG and the other is a action-adventure game. That's pretty similar in my book. They have a lot in common.
Kiss Nintendo home consoles goodbye. Possibly even a dedicated handheld if the Switch does good.
Do you have any proof to you claims?
@Chris12 Microsoft is the one that introduced payed online to the console space. And my point was exactly that. They introduced bad practices that worked and Sony and now Nintendo are following suite. So competition isn't always good. DRM in on online space is fine. DRM on physical disk would have been insane especially since you would have to log in every 24 hours or your console would turn into a brick.
@Chris12 Competition and innovation isn't always good. Look at what the Xbox one was going to do with DRM. Or look at paying for online. These are innovations implemented to have the upper hand against competition. So it can be good but also bad at the same time.
If Microsoft was doing so well how come they won't even reveal numbers of how many console sold?
Remember when Microsoft didn't even have a console in the space and gaming was doing just fine. Pepperidge Farm remembers. While I agree that competition is sometimes good gaming will continue to move on.
You also have to include that Xbox Live accounts on PC are free.
Year of the Scorpio. What happened to just year of the XBox. Already forgetting about the vanilla Xbox.
No comparison. The PS3 gave the 360 every advantage
-Got hacked
-No rumble at launch
-Came out a year later
-Was never cheaper than the Xbox the entire gen
-No in game chat
-No in game messaging at launch
-Store that launched in a slow web browser
-AAA games that didn't appear on the console at launch because of the cell
-Couldn't play music in game
-Apps like Netflix had to use a disk at launch...
What is innovative about a tablet that you can hook up to your TV?????
I stopped reading when he said Nintendo doesn't have enough money. If you going to fanboy out on a company at least know how much there worth. A quick Google search reveals that Nintendo is worth $18.4 billion. So it's their choice to make these cheaper curve balls.
Xbox One as low as 250 with games is a big factor of why it's selling well.
Right now at best buy you can get an XBox One with
-Gears Ultimate Edition
-Free Select Xbox Game
-Save $10 on Xbox Live Gold
-Save $20 on Controller with Console
all for 250. i wonder why it's selling so well.
Outsell the Wii with the hype that thing had yeahhh I don't know about that.
