Yes. Let's blame Marcus Fenix and Master Chief for the linear story, QTEs, and cinematic 'gameplay'. Somehow this is all their fault.
While I don't think it's likely, it would be interesting if Microsoft went after them.
It would only help Microsoft in the western markets while obviously giving them huge major exclusives.
It also isn't that far fetched since Capcom was reportedly very pleased with Dead Rising 3 and how Microsoft worked with them. Capcom was also looking more eastern in the same way Microsoft wants to crank into the western markets.

The game looks insanely fantastic. The E3 trailer with that 'werewolf' guy was awesome. The visuals are probably some of the best to date.
But the amount of negativity building against the game is worrisome. First it was the supposedly larger number of QTE's (nobody's favorite)....then it was there will be no mulitplayer only campaign.

The game is likely finished save for some last minute polish and minor debug. But I wouldn't expect any major revamp or new features that aren't already there.
The game will be going gold soon...produciton, distribution. If the game is just 'meh' now...it's gonna be 'meh' when it launches.
