How ridiculous is it? We see the same stuff at the end/beginning of each gen. It seems a future they all want, once it's here I think the story will be a little different. It'll bite them (anyone) on the arse if they back this 'future' of gaming.

Are you saying a console which serves essentially one purpose is the same as a PC? To call a console an AMD box is to completely misunderstand what a console is.
I bet my PC is different to your's and everyone else's on this site, no two are the same unless you're buying a pre-built system - then i cant help you. That's why they stink.

DillyDilly - Why did Aony drop the price? To stay competitive? What do I win? Sony PS3 outsold 360 since it launched, 360 had over a year head start in some cases, RROD, and still finished the gen in 3rd place.
With the PS3 feature set, if you got all the ms adaptors and so forth - 360 ended up costing more.
They think us gullible and uneducated - it's only as successful as gamers allow it to be. If the sub numbers don't match the ones in their yearly forecasts - we'll start seein articles like - Game streaming, where it went wrong? Why didn't game streaming take off?
I for one won't be supporting it in any form, I have no need for it. I prefer the way I've played games for over 35yrs - cassette, floppy disc, cartridge, CD, DVD and now BluRay.
