I enjoyed Resi 2 just as much as I enjoyed Days Gone, but DG is a new ip. Look at Real to 2? Or Uncharted to 2. Days Gone deserved a chance the gaming media did my give it. I'm glad it has sold well and has been received positively by PS4 owners.

Movefasta1993 - You can't write a game that specifically uses the SSD to load assets in the game world. Not every PC has one. Also Cerney said it'd be faster than ones currently on the market. We will see how this translates into better looking games in 2021.

DaDrunken - Yh pretty much, if your a small team and can't facilitate an online game - maybe that isn't the game you should be making. Even the big publishers/devs fail, but most of the time it won't bankrupt the company.
If that's such a huge concern - I'd suggest they get a PC. I'm not dead against it, just don't think its the be all end all.
A good game will be supported, that's it. No need to group as many people together to buff player numbers if a game is average.
