PS3 was the best value at the time and with Sony's track record- why would bet against them?
They showed all the naysayers back then and haven't stopped this gen.
PS5 will sell a MASSIVE amount of units.
Haha - a hear a little voice in the corner.
Purchasing a studio is great ms but imagine creating one - you'll get a lot more satisfaction that way.
Doggy123 - That's pretty relevant I would've thought, don't you think much?
And Sony is having an info drop soon - how's that for interesting? Already hard poo-pants.
Because at the time SLI was still relevant, I built PC's because I liked doing so. I put in the best that was available at the time.
Free online is one thing, but do you get free games every month? There's also that as an added bonus.
PC owners can use their PC's for other stuff - more than happy to hear that. I buy consoles to play games.
Haha - where did that come from? No context, nothing - just a word.
So you'll spend, $500 - $600 every 3 years and I'll spend $600 every 6 or 7. Yh champ you're on fire.
Because Australia is where I live - why else would I?
PS4 rrp is around $99 your right there, but you can pick them up for $69 on launch quite easy.
Fact remains - next gen consoles will offer great value compared to a PC. Build a PC comparable to a next gen console - let me know how much it cost you. Not upgrade - build ...
Neonridr - They probably have memories of the proprietary 360HDD. Fair play to them.
Gotta forgive people for jumping to conclusions.
Ahhh ms fans playing the martyr - never gets old. Sony will cop the same heat, it's unavoidable.
I'd like to see the fallout from tomorrow's event if PS5 has a few larger numbers than xsx.
Now there's a reaction worth waiting for.
It was a disaster - it would be interesting to know who proposed and approved those cards.
That's always the case - just one has better games, which is also - always the case. It's also why I struggle with how others come to the conclusion that the inferior product somehow is the better product.
Especially given the parent companies track record.
Looking forward to tomorrow.
Yes mate - and what games will you play that are so enticing or warrant an investment in a PC? And how much have spent on your PC build?
My last build was a 1080 (sli), nvme x2 512gb, water-cooled and cost around $4000. The cards alone were $1300.
I live in Australia - what do you think the equivalent card to a next gen console would cost over here?
What are they saying - same performance as a 2080? Or close to that. Well that card se...
Enjoy that upgrade cycle, happens quicker than consoles and bigger diminishing returns. It's a mugs game - consoles offer the best bang for your buck.
DIRtY - ms has announced a launch title a while back, they could've shown a screenshot at least.
No one was disappointed Ms didn't reveal 'NEW GAMES' - just a game that was built with xsx in mind.
Sony hasn't announce any 1st party launch titles yet.
I'll certainly be disappointed if Sony doesn't show something visually to show me the difference between PS5 & PS4Pro.
Tech jargon is ...
Lego - I just read your reply, all systems and a PC and you say your going to wait for Sony to release all exclusives on PC.
What about ms who already do that? Why would you need an ms console?
Seems your intelligence is on the small side - or your just lying.
That's why I said gaming PC's buddy - yes a gaming PC can do other thing also.
And apart 200+ FPS @ 1080p - the games aren't optimised, the devs have so many variables- they don't push the cards to their limits. Just push bad code at strong hardware and you've got a PC game.
I've built many custom loops for my PC's - I've put the money in, I've played the games.
Console gaming and consoles offer be...
Gaming PC's are so overpriced it ain't funny, and building one yourself - while cheaper still ain't small change. Looking forward to the build 'build your own PC more powerful than a next gen console for $500'.
Next gen consoles will offer great value.
If Sony was at the point that ms is in terms of releasing information - yh I would be disappointed.
A PS5 launch title has already been shown, and a 3rd party one at that. It is still something.
I don't want to be sold on last gen games getting an upgrade - that is not something I'm looking for in my next gen system.
Just show me what it can do - why do I need to upgrade.
This is a bullet point at best.
aconnellan - I can understand the reasoning behind them, I just want to see the reason for them.
I'm just anxious for a 1st party dev to show what they're doing with all this power.
I think ms is at a point now where a screenshot won't seriously effect sales of current hardware.
But those games are playable on 2 other console and PC.
Show people why they'll want to upgrade, a screenshot comparison would've been enough.
PC's - now there's a passing contest haha, imagine when PC owners realise that their PC is less powerful than a console.
