porkchop - or just get a next gen console, sounds easier to me.
I wouldnt go that far, but a single component can cost a generation of a console.
Are PC gamers upgrading to PCI-e 4.0? Fairly sure the next gen console will support it. Isn't that going to be CPU, MB, GPU or that's not the case?
Maybe I am ignorant after all.
I'd be surprised if it didn't tbh - it has the largest install base and will be supported by PS5.
Let's hope people buy it, VR is amazing but still needs more consumer support. I wonder how many people who shit canned VR will jump on board next gen?
PSVR will be supported by PS5 - so the investment was worth it for those who jumped in early.
You can thank a certain console for that, they showed people would pay for it - unfortunately Sony didn't want to be left out.
At least all other FREE or paid services are available on PS4 without needing PS+.
The lesser of 2 evils - still not ideal though.
I hope you're not wanting a streaming future, not saying you are - but that's when we all get smashed in the wallet.
The greedy buggers will all want a slice of the pie.
Largest console community out there champ. So much so we had to buff out the number of a floundering console - good bunch of people us PlayStaion folk.
And a bonus we get the BEST single player games, new ips and a 1st party studios not afraid to take risks - its actually encouraged.
Nintendo didn't need power to obliterate ms - prime example of why power is only part of the puzzle.
And why shouldn't Sony fans shout from the rooftop about their absolutely stellar 1st party games.
It's why play games in the first place isn't it? Or do we play on new consoles to play games that are 10+ yrs old.
ms has sold you all a lie because they didn't have the balls to create new experiences for their fan b...
Maybe, just maybe it was because xboxone was the more expensive machine - ms and their 'pro-consumer' policies at work again.
What a machine! Outsold 360 from day 1 - BluRay, Bluetooth, amazing library of games. And it was $1000 in Australia.
DrakeFan1- He worked Sony exclusives from near on 2 generations ago - and has been said he seems hostile towards Sony. Not the sort of person in the know.
Fdan64 - And the PS5 gets those tflops moving about twice as fast, without any bottlenecks. That's where the difference is going to be.
The smart play is Sony delivering the equal if not the better machine at what will probably be a cheaper price.
Yep - there's real nude women on the internet, shocking I know. And they're more fun to see than some flesh coloured pixels.
They should load up a their go to website - do what they have to and go back to playing games.
The 2 don't need to go together.
Seems they're a little 'touchy' about the subject. Just gotta ask yourself if it's really necessary - it isn't.
Its good to see all the down votes from the faithful PC community.
Fight the good fight /s
I reckon it has - they're reactionary it's embarrassing.
It will make any existing headset sound great, upgrade if you want to buy it won't be necessary to so.
Did Mark shy away from showing any negative differences in the hardware? Nope.
He must be confident in what he's designed - and that gives me confidence.
Thought you'd be tired by now - PS5 has already taken over the conversation. xsx is an afterthought.
Wait until they actually show PS5 games haha, gonna be heaps articles from confused people that can't understand how they do it.
And it'll have th best games if history is anything to go by.
That's usually the determining factor in a consoles success.
xsx is only going to chip into the existing ms consoles haha - won't even dent Sony or Nintendo.
That's a harsh reality of trying be everything to everyone.
