Trying way too hard mate - the game is liked by more and more people every day. And its fanbase will continue to grow.
Bugs here and there are worthy of highlighting, and reflected in the final score. Someone's skin colour, demeanor, way of life or accepted gameplay necessities are not what you base a review on.
Ok GB we dont need 15 articles diseecting the same article.
First to 10 million wins - Mjr Nelson, they are deplorable on all levels. the cream rises to the top.
It ain't Fallout 76, but let's crucify all the same. Devs do deserve to be called out and Bend is no exception, but is it as bad as everyone is saying?
Nope. In fact it's better.
Tekolie - The reasons behind the scores is the real issue, 5 and 6.5 are shameful. IGN just released I vid defending there BS score, who does that if they believe they are right.
So you didn't put any money down when you pre-ordered the game you were willing to pay $120 ($250 in Aus) for. I did raise that in an earlier comment, no answer though.
I also pre-ordered the Collectors Edition, put down $50 - had rent and bills due. Had to cancel and get the normal edition paid $69 total.
That's the point I was making, if you wanted that much - just buy it. But you let a few shitty reviews decide for you. I know the comment abo...
Talk about aiming low, yearly rehashes and smoke and mirrors. Hope I'm wrong.
Gamely or any service like that is not available in Australia. Sounds like a good deal.
What's funny about DG and the bad press it's receiving, all the haters are coming out full steam. It's hilarious, how about those same people read the good reviews? Listen to feedback from people that have actually played the and are enjoying it?
The internet is forever and gamers have long memories.
Completely understand - surely he put a deposit down for the collectors edition? The money he paid to rent the game could've been added to that to just purchase the normal edition.
Does that make sense now?
If he was willing to pre-order the Collectors Edition - there was some interest in the game. A few troll reviews hit and it changes your mind.
What a world we live in, adults cantbthink for themselves.
You'd be surprised - the other mob are having a field day with these 'clearly biased' articles. It's been entertaing that's for sure haha
Wouldn't a few extra bucks on top of your pre-order buy you the game? Doesn't make sense to then go out and rent it, you could trade it in of you didn't like it.
Or are you just trolling? Be honest now.
Nah - it would still be a head scratcher, but I'm looking forward to Game Informers article about the dangers of investing in cryoto currency. /s
Days Gone is not on GOW level - not even close, but it's still infinitely better than 5's, 6.5 and lower that are floating around. I think the sales are doing enough for BEND and Sony to be happy, and not too much buyers remorse.
Gamers seem to be happy with it. That's what counts.
You can clearly see people enjoying it, you can clearly see there's been an agenda behind every bad review. If you can't see those things clearly - can't help ya.
You haven't dodged a bullet - you've denied yourself a well made, fun to play game. Not without flaws mind you.
A handful of review sites give it a bad rap and that's enough for you to pass. Maybe you weren't too keen to begin with? It has more positive reviews than negative and the user reviews are a better reflection of the game.
It's not perfect but no worse than what has been accepted from other companies.
Righto knuckles
I'll take that bet.
The people that don't upgrade straight away. This is too easy.
It was for me, came at the right time and still allowed games to look and play great on the base model. You can't have too much disparity between products - what's the point?
It was used as part of a bigger lie from ms and their grimey execs, that may be why. But in light of that, it's not something you really want associated with your upcoming product. It's too ambiguous and corny.
He's just trolling - any half positive DG article will get that. Think of it as a compliment.
