I know this is what people, especially die hards, are hoping for, but doesn't it seem like many people have gotten bored of the same old Nintendo? I know those are franchises that are considered classic nintendo but it's like telling the same *hilarious* joke over and over again; you might laugh the first 5 times but at some point you realize this guy is just trying desperately to be funny and you kind of just chuckle along for support. I think realism was the wrong word there... If you're referring to weathering conditions and having to drink water to warm/cool you down I see that not so much as realism as such a dated design choice. I think it's a good game but they have some conepts which are way past their experation date. Things like flexing after a ration just to invoke danger on the player is silly and should have never made it into a final build imho.

this article is doing its best to keep people interested in the Wiiu. they list a bunch of current gen ports and games with no release dates and even a Wii game... And they called Pikmin one of the most anticipated games of 2013. This series sold peanuts.

Within the Nintendo community Rayman became the scapegoat for Nintendo's own poor handling of software and 3rd party relations. That's the truth.
Fair enough but don't forget the 600 dollar price tag, shortage of consoles at release, and the fact that it took almost 4 months until it was available for sale worldwide. Those are facts.
Despite these factors the numbers between these 2 consoles are earily similar.
@above, the PS3 at one point was actually doing relatively poor in terms of market share, of which the wiiu is doing significantly worse given the same time period.
What's the vita have to do with the wiiu? I'm not sur what you expect to be said. If for comparison's sake we can say the vita is currently outselling it and developers so far seem happy to work on it. Nintendo created the hype that the wiiu will enjoy good 3rd party relations and please the core gamer which it hasn't done.

PS4 day one here regardless of what xbox shows. However if they impress me enough I might have 2 new consoles this holiday. ^^
