Show me Bioshock running on psvita and i might have to agree.
Believe it or not people were and are actually excited about those games. Its no different than Nintendo fans getting excited about a Pikmin game (the original sold a million in its lifetime) and I'm not saying anything bad about either. Why does it bother people that others are pre ordering and excited about a console?

You do have some fair points but even the biggest doubters can admit "no chance for a comeback" is pretty extreme. A price drop and more new titles will spur interest, generating third party support, and better sales. Like I said if it could reach GCN numbers then I'd consider it successful. I liked my Gamecube. :|
I wouldn't count the Wiiu out so easily. Yeah its having a really tough start but like the fans have been saying that could be easily attributed to the lack of games at the moment. With a price drop and more titles (prefferably new ones that feel *fresh*, not more mario/zelda) it could definitely reach GCN numbers if not more. Thats my opinion.
IDK, I think PC gamers should be glad with the PS4 specs even if they have no interest in console gaming. I've seen the random troll posts but I'm believing that was a fabricated conflict from fans of other systems and also morons who don't understand what the architecture of PS4 means for PC gaming. I don't use steam but I think Sony has done fair job with handling digital distribution going forward. For one, the psvita has the highest digital buy rate of any Playstation console, mostly because every retail game is available on the store, and being 10-15% cheaper on psn. Second, their psn promotions are always welcome (buy so much and get so much in return the following month, usualy in conjuction with a psn sale). The sales are usually up to 50-70% off most times (ps+ member).
I'm more of a spicy nacho guy, myself. Metal Gear Vita is something we can both agree on though.

I won't fanboi out but I like playing WipEout, Sly cooper, Assassin's Creed, and the new Trials game. More recently Soul Sacrifice and PSO2 on my jpn account.
The same will happen with the Wiiu, given time and a decent price drop.
Also the psvita is outselling the Wiiu.

Take a look at the screenshots of the game, it looks... bad. I get that its an upgrade from GCN but its exclusive to with their new system and it doesn't do it any justice, imo. Its not much of an improvement visually.
Not a lot of poeple will pay full price for a remake 2 generations old, at least i'd hope not.

All those remakes aren't neccesary.. Get Versus Xiii and KH3 out and type-0 localized and we're good. FFX hd and Type-0 hd is like bonuses.
