1.70 fixed that for me, but made the other issue worse. The issue of it not recording video at all, leaving no option to save the video. Now this update has it working better for me so far.

It seems this update made the video recording more consistent. It nearly always allows you to save video now. Thank god. It might even get in/out of the share menu quicker now. Last update made it snappier, think this one improves on it. Just glad I can rely on video saves a lil more now.

I like how he's not afraid to admit that he's getting a PS4 to play the game on.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Sony's answer to "Teh Cloud". I remember Sony was working on that OpenStack cloud computing for PSN, created by Rackspace and NASA.

Uhhhhh, Do you know how long ago the first 3 iterations of those games came out? This isn't the same Crapcom anymore dude. The only thing they make even half decent anymore is SF, a series they killed off and devs had to beg to bring it back. They are barely doing that well also, with how they are so focused on stealing peoples money, which is partially why SF x Tekken was so hated on.

They aren't the awesome team of people they use to be, it's been proven over &#...

LOL, only because there's no other decent competitive MP FPS games out on PS4 right now. BF is aight, but I'm not one of the people that compared BF to COD, it's a completely different type of game, COD is more arcade actiony, BF is more war simulator. I don't like the feel of Killzone either. I just like how COD plays better, and I notice BF trying to change things to be more CODish ever since BF3, including charging for damn map packs.

Anyhow, it's only ...

Oh wow, the SHAREfactory team is gonna work on the issue of no video being recorded? Well, there app runs fast and smooth, so I guess I rather they do it than the current code monkeys on the PS4 UI team. I'm glad it's atleast being mentioned, with how many awesome moments I lost cuz of it. The problem got 10x worse after 1.7, it's like it only records for me every 3rd time on average.

Though, I'm mainly playing COD, and I heard a few people saying it may happ...

"Either the Engineers over at Sony are second rate, or Sony need to overhaul their On-line infrastructure."

I think it's a lil bit of both. Sony still has those half-assed engineers that work on the UI and system updates and stuff. Now that we get charged for online games, they need to upgrade that whole crew. They also have to pick better days for the ridiculously long maintenance times.

I think there was a recent article about them starting to...

I still feel like we haven't seen enough to come up with an opinion leaning toward either side. I kind of liked the Gears of War style over-the-shoulder view and cover system. I haven't played Gears since part 2, which I hated for various reasons, but the original was what I always refer to as "crack". It was more addictive than COD, and for good reason.

I know there's no co-op for cinematic story reasons or whatever, it'd be cool if this game had co...

I think what they're doing will help 1st parties, but is mainly to get 3rd parties and lil indies over that performance hump right out the box with the SDK. Most 1st parties will probably be going more to the metal even and using more specific tools, since they don't have to worry about porting to multiplat. The new improvements will be to bring multiplats and indies to another level without much effort from devs.

Whoa, looks crazy. I was staring at a pic of the road with the asphalt looking crazy nice and the yellow line really looks like paint going over the uneven road surface. Really nice stuff.

I knew it, when it was first announced The ICE Team was working on PS4 performance, I said it was gonna be mainly surrounding GPGPU. I hope it also revolves around making Partially Resident Textures easy to implement.

That last pic with the pond/lake with rocks around it shows how crappy the textures are and how low the background polycount still is. It definitely doesn't look like graphics only possible on PS4(if these are PS4 screens).

LOL, that's what they get for having a crazy amazing team like Rare, and using them for crappy Kinect games. I don't see why Rare wasn't a little more involved in KI, why would it be the random Double Helix? Just to save money? Goodness, now Double Helix is gone to Amazon as an exclusive dev for their upcoming console. I don't know why Amazon would want them, they have no real track record, it's just a few crappy games and now KI and Capcom's Strider.

I'm use to getting disagrees for telling the truth on n4g. Especially if it's about PS4, even though this isn't directed at the PS4. It's directed at Activision and their crappy COD devs. They do suck at coding, which is why they haven't touched the mainline code for the COD engine in forever, cuz they didn't create it. The Respawn guys did, while they were at Infinity Ward, and only lil additions have been added here 'n there, there's been no major overhauls t...
