Yea, that statue is pretty damn badass.
I think when I tested it out way back, I picked Berserker. You get a pet also that follows you and collects loot and gives you health potions 'n all that. The art style is really nice.
"We work with very little oversight, and little supervision. Initiative is rewarded. Boldness is a requirement. Excellence is expected."
I like that, but it only works when everyone on the team is a pro that knows what they're doing on their own. So, most AAA teams with tons of grunt work personnel couldn't work like this regardless, cuz many of them don't have any type of control over any part of the development process, they are just extra hands doing ...
Multiplayer definitely makes a game like this atleast a lil more fun. The matchmaking was done pretty well too, if I remember correctly, it was a while back that I played it.
Oh, we're getting into the more known AAA quality indies now, since yesterday I guess. I played Torchlight before, it's pretty cool and polished for sure.
Yeah, I saw mine in the mail early this morning. I wish I saw it when they sent it at 11:24pm last night. So I could have atleast downloaded it overnight. I was in the alpha, so I'm familiar with most of what I played of it so far. I just have to finish leveling up and test out Crucible to see the differences with the Beta.
I just saw in email on my phone about 2 hours ago that I got an invite to the beta late last night. Only 1 more gig to go!!!!
Yeah, and I hate to say it, but this is partially why I'm kind of optimistically watching Destiny. I couldn't bring myself to preorder it because of the Activision connection. I hate how they're mainly the ones that stamped the competitive multiplayer map $$$ DLC tag onto shooters that others ran with, that's destroying the genre's community.
This is why Epic never use to charge for mods and map packs back in the PC days of Unreal Tournaments. They made al...
Oh god, this again? The 10% CPU will help, it's not gonna make X1 games look/perform the same as PS4 games. Only crappy devs can manage that, otherwise, the PS4 version is still gonna be noticeably superior. This isn't an extra 10% more CPU power on X1 than PS4, this is X1 just reallocating 10% of the CPU they dedicated to the Kinect.
Double Fine, hmm, getting into the cream of the crop indies now.
I've been watching and waiting for this game ever since glimpsing the KS.
Again, just looking at the screens - you can tell that it's quality. They are just good game makers.
It's got really cool, cartoony graphics.
Well, atleast we know for sure that this indie makes good games.
Force advertising store items in the game menus like COD:Ghosts. Also, selling competitive multiplayer map packs, some people buy them just because they don't want to be fragmented from the main group of players. This is what happens to me with every COD, because I feel the maps are overpriced and get worse each year, so I don't buy them - very few short months later it becomes hard to find matches. I usually can't find Kill Confirmed matches after 1am. It's dirty to basically...
Yup, I didn't even have to click the link to know what they were talking about. Those weird troll aliens with the giant club-wielding one, and you can't do a thing to their HP.
Here we go.
This one is interesting.
Good voice for the narrator.
LMAO @ "I'm talkin' to the young kids who haven't gotten on the PC yet." He stopped the boos for Xbox Live by dissing the Xbox community. He basically is saying to get off your playschool toys and come join the big boys. Well, not to be devil's advocate, but although that works for multiplats - it's no good for when there's multiple AAA top quality console exclusives you want to play. That being said, I own a PS4, but not an X1 - and this was hilarious to...
