LOL, they were sour from day 1. They have the better hardware than AMD when it comes to overall quality, but the performance/price ratio for video cards is WAY WAY WAY in AMD's favor. So, Nvidia can cry all they want, the point remains, they have been throwing shots ever since both consoles went with AMD. Yeah, they had first dibs to be with the consoles, they walked away cuz they weren't cool with the deal. They immediately started throwing shots, so yeah, despite all other politics...
How about talk about how all your great innovations to gaming are rarely used by the majority of devs @ Nvidia. Like, Physx being used rarely because it was locked to Nvidia hardware forever, and only later made possible to be used the lesser effective software-implemented method by people using other cards. Your opinion means nothing Nvidia, you're just sour that AMD has the advantage because both next gen consoles are powered by it. Go work on some new tech that isn't completely loc...
I don't see how they want people to transition to digital so badly, yet they have stuff like Killzone retail disc-copy for $19.99, and they have the digital version for $39.99. I don't understand why anyone would be looking for digital copies of games when it's always like this. The digital copy should be cheaper, you get no disc, manual, if the servers ever go down and you don't have a copy of the game - you don't even have the game. Yet it costs twice as much right now f...
Uh oh, get out the paint brushes.
I agree with liking games where being good means a lot. In some cases, for that to continue to happen more often in a larger variety of games today, in some cases the AI is gonna have to increase tremendously overall this gen.
"That's Bifrost. The rainbow bridge connecting the land of mortals to the land of gods."
LOL, alrighty then, sounds coo'.
A game described like this, you really need to see some vid to back it up.
Well, one way is the new parkour system looks way better and more precise. Graphics are better by a decent margin. The co-op from the ground-up is awesome. The procedural building generator they were using to fill up the city was super cool, and will allow for crazy amounts of dense blocks, and way more buildings that you can go inside of. All that with no load times. It sounds like a pretty big advancement to me.
Nawh, it can go for closer to $30-$35 around Black Friday - Cyber Monday.
And the guy who created the PS4 started Naughty Dog up basically.
Part of the reason it's taking so long is because they don't quite know what they're doing. I remember a year or 2 ago the director being asked about it and him saying he'd tried to forget all about the project, lol. That's how bad things were. So, I'm not expecting much, and am surprised to even hear any news at all on it.
Thanks Sucker Punch, for setting the Photo Mode trend.
Or the difference could be a good reason to play through the game twice. Compare the double frame-rate vs the better shadows.
Nawh, just exaggerating, to say that's how evil Microsoft is.
Multiplat Crash would be pretty corny. Sony has let too many franchises go multiplat. They should have bought Square Enix back in the day when they had the chance, and kept them a good 1st party company. Instead of respecting them so much and letting them be independent. Square Enix could have used that direction from Sony as a 1st party company under them, looking at where their quality has gone over recent years. Sony needs to stop playing this time around, because Microsoft isn't the u...
I wouldn't put it past Microsoft to pay Activision to not let Crash be made. Hah.
I haven't played this in a minute, might mess with it again soon.
I got this game cuz I liked the HDish sprites and figured it'd be fun enough for the low price. It isn't the longest game, but there's tons of upgrades and you can dig down pretty deep.
The game can get addictive when you're caught up with upgrading your drills and powers to break through to deeper depths.
Yeah, the gpu acceleration being locked to Nvidia cards is them blocking out the best optimizations for others to use. They are arguing throughout that vid that they aren't holding back optimizations other vendors can use, I don't care that we can use it if it's a half-assed version. Let us use it how it was meant to be used, instead of being bogged down by a weaker CPU, stop trying to be slick Nvidia. Not everyone you're talking to are idiot gamers that know nothing about the...
