....and many won't
Just a little info for those beta testers. The version of the game will be v1.6, not what is currently on the PTS (v1.7). This means that the NPC collision will still be disabled and the starter islands will still be required to do. At least, this is what most are saying.
For anybody who may care... it looks like the closed beta PTS added a couple of interesting changes!

- Collision detection with NPCs just got put in.
- You can also now skip the starter islands and go straight to the first city in your area. You can port back to starter islands if you want.

RIFT has one of the best F2P systems.
"I" love PC! .... don't ditch your console. There will always be room for them all! I hate this PC vs Console "war." Just freaking game and have fun!
That is why the gamers who could not care less about "platform supremacy" own multiple systems and/or respect that each system has it's pros/cons. I myself am mostly a PC gamer but own a Wii/360/PS3 but will only be buying a next gen (PS4) when I feel it's time. PC+PS4 is going to be a match made in heaven this (console) generation.
I don't know what you are looking for concerning Q/A for PvP, but here is a pretty good 6 minute video with commentary on AvAvA:

I could not agree more!!
I was skeptical at first (pre-NDA lift). The closed betas I was in left a bad taste in my mouth but I never got over level 5 (not a fair outlook on an MMO.) Since the NDA has lifted, reading comprehensive legacy beta tester impressions, watched tons of videos, I have done a complete 180 on this game!
This is one of the first times that I have seen an NDA lifted providing mostly POSITIVE results/impressions from the legacy closed beta players (this is admittedly maybe lack of ...
Do people get too old to read a good novel? ... no... same with gaming.
If it is any consolation, you do not have to be in a guild in order to access guild shops in Cyrodiil owned keeps. Its just, if you are in a guild (and you can be in up to five guilds at once) you will have access to those guild shops also when they do not own a keep.
This is an interesting idea as in order to have your guild's shop be available to the rest of your faction, you must own a keep in Cyrodiil (this will make AvAvA huge). You can be into up to five guilds at once and each can have a shop always available to that specific guild. Some may find this "archaic" but I think it will foster a FORCED community between guilds/players. One thing MMOs have been losing is the need to interact with others in the game. I am all for this!

I was very skeptical but now I'm sold!

I'm sold!
Edit: Oh and Vampire/Werewolf abilities have been released (don't know how old of news this is):

I was skeptical after playing the betas but I never made it out of the beginner zone. After watching some PvE dungeons and some RvR (AvAvA) videos, I'm sold!!
Found a pretty good video on the first three (lvl 15ish) dungeons. The group dungeon system using the holy trinity doesn't look so bad!
WARNING: Spoilers ahead (first three dungeon bosses shown)!

I'm surprised that Blizzard hasn't jumped in and opted for some WoW / Starcraft / Diablo LEGO games yet. Especially, WoW.
Not so much a "sequel" per say, but I would love for a developer to dig into the Dragonlance D&D realm for an RPG again. So much lore for an isometric or Dragon Age 1 type of game.
After playing the beta and watching plenty of first impressions, I think I may just hold out for Wildstar and EQNext. Too each their own but I wasn't impressed. Betas are betas though and things can change.... wishful thinking...
