This game was great. From the Betrayal quest lines to crafting mini game and so on to the housing, EQII had SO much to offer! One major problem, the system requirements were HUGE for this game... for the time. WoW sucked in so many people from their, "Even a toaster can play our game" approach. EQII was doomed from the start. :( I had some awesome years with it though!
You have to admit, it's a great problem to have! :)

I said it in another article. If Everquest can still be pumping out xpacs (last in late 2013 and another rumored around the corner), then WoW will be around as long as Blizzard wants it to be. There will always be a dedicated fan base. People act as if this game has to maintain 5+ million players or it will be dropped. Yes, they will fluctuate and gradually drop but I would put money on the subs still being over 1 mill past 2020.

Outstanding game!! If you liked the first (or Eye of the Beholder style games from the 90s), you will LOVE this game!
Although "The Shadow" from Amnesia: The Dark Descent was the number one choice, I could argue that "The Kaernk" (water monster in the same game) was the "scariest" part of the game. I'm satisfied with the number one choice though. Good to see such a great game still receive recognition.
PC sales on vgcharts never account for digital sales which, we all know, is now the majority of sales on PC. I wish we could see the true figures as I'm sure they are above 1 million. I hope so because the game is pure gold!

The first was a blast (from the past)! I have no doubts that LoG2 will be just as good, if not better! One more day until release!

Not to sound condescending but, wow, what a difference between PC size (24gb) and console (40gb). That would piss me off if I were a console gamer. All those wasted gb just for multiple languages.
