@Bathyj
How am I out of luck? I own a PS4 and Nioh. I've been playing the game like crazy since release. I'm not the one begging or signing petitions for a PC version. But I'm certainly not against it because I don't care about your guys little console war you got going on. Why wouldn't I want to support the devs by buying their game again, but at the same time get to play at 1080p+ 60FPs, AA, and high res-textures compared to 720p 60FPS, no AA and lower...
And what if you're like me that does have a PS4 and Nioh, but would 100% buy it again on PC for better graphics and frame rate?
Yes the co-op is pretty much identical to Dark Souls but there's also a completely separate mode where you actually play together and no one is summoning each other. It's not open world like Dark Souls, you select missions but the level design is very similar to Dark Souls in terms of secret paths, hidden items, short cuts etc. You have to beat the first main mission to unlock co-op though.
It's pretty damn amazing IMO. It's like Dark Souls but with way more to it without making the difficulty seem stupid. As a HUGE DS fan, DS feels (for the lack of better term) simple compared to Nioh. It's much more in-depth in terms of combat, and the loot. Being able to have loot drops really adds depth that is missing in Dark Souls or even Bloodborne. That and destroying barrels actually drops items! One thing that's always bugged me in DS games is all those damn breakable o...
Not really. For an EA game, it runs extremely well. They just need to reduce server lag. When it's not lagging I get a solid 60FPS with everything maxed. The animations just need to be more fluid instead of robotic. Overall, day 2 on an EA game and I've encountered very little issues. My main issue is sometimes it will "Preparing your character" for up to nearly 5 minutes sometimes, then other times will be about 30 sec. Some in-game tutorials on certain things would be nice...
Guild Wars 2 is also made by Arenanet, an American company. It's a Western MMORPG that's published by a Korean company. And if you like it or not, ESO. Especially with the console player base.
Guild Wars 2. Which is bigger than nearly every game you mentioned.
To your comment above, yes feature wise and how the game is gonna play is a very good indication based on a beta. Connection issues are not. If you played For Honor beta and you don't like the gameplay, then yeah it would be very wise not to purchase it based off your experience with the beta. But betas are mostly used for stress testing servers to make them better for launch. GTA V didn't have a beta, remember how long it took Rockstar to get MP up and running 100%? Over a month. Div...
I would agree, but this isn't the full game. This is the beta. This is exactly what beta's are for. I've been in every single closed alpha and beta test. Very rarely was there connection issues. When they did go down, they usually were back up rather quickly. . They let A LOT of people in this beta to stress test the servers. I'd rather the beta go down for a while than the full game.
I think so. I just recently got back into PoE, and I'm having a blast with it. They added so much since the last time I played. Not sure when the last time you played, but it's an excellent game and best of all. Free. I'm more of a PC gamer but I've never been a huge fan of point and click controls. Here's hoping PoE makes it's way to PS4 since I don't have an Xbone. Would love to play it with a controller.
Actually it's not over.....yet. H-Hour World Elite still exist on PC. And it's practically a carbon copy of SOCOM 2, just better graphics. Same movement, aiming, gun feel, controls, even crosshairs. It also has the classic modes like demolition, extractions etc. And the best part. Steam Workshop support. So maps like Desert Glory, Fish Hook, Frostfire etc all exist. For Free. The bad part is, and I know this franchise is primarily PS gamers, but the community is pretty dead. I actuall...
Ummm FFXV and Dark Souls 3 are complete games. No Mans Sky wasn't even close to a complete game. The new update helped a lot. But they need 4-5 more like it to feel complete.
Well IMO MGS4 was the worst MGS. I hated it, where as I actually loved Fable 2. I still think MGS3 is the best MGS and one of the best games of all time. I personally wouldn't have choose UC4 as my GOTY, but between UC4 and Overwatch I would have hands down picked UC4. Which to me is funny because I hated UC2 and 3 because it was so corny and trying to hard to be funny and it made me lose interest in the actual story. I really enjoyed UC4 and I think the more serious tone helped the story...
It's actually an 8GB download. I just finished downloading it myself. Leave it to ThisGenGaming for clickbait inaccurate headlines.
Edit: Aaaannd they changed it -_-
In some cases I would agree, but not for Bethesda games. TES and Fallout are amazing games on their own, but the reason people still play and buy them 3-5 years later is because of mods. There's many console players who re-bought Skyrim for mods alone. Mod are totally worth it (at least on Xbox, not so much PS4 right now with no external assets) and extend the life of your game by hundreds and hundreds of hours.
The problem I have with this article is, not once was the...
@DragonKnight
Oh I 100%, and I understand the point. BUT, there is in fact tools within Sony's system to allow the developers to block said content, menus, dialog etc. Sony as a company that produces hardware for 3rd party companies to make content for, need to set rules and guidelines, but also enforce them. It's Sony's job as much as it is the developer to make sure those are met, but more on Sony.
Same goes for mod content with Bethesda an...
Well Sony is the one who banned him not Ubi. Nudity in games isn't exactly anything new. So if Sony supports a screenshots feature they should enforce rules on devs that anything containing nudity would need to be blurred or not allowed to be shared. They already do it with certain areas of menus in games, or in cut scenes, so there's no reason they couldn't do it here.
Bethesda didn't make it....
What sites? The game was getting hate for the simple fact no day 1 reviews. No major outlet was hyping Mafia 3. An over hyped game would be No Mans Sky. Not Mafia 3. You're getting over hyped confused with excitement.
I'm surprised as well, but at the same time I think it's great since major Zelda games don't come out very often. However, I'm 100% adding difficulties in the Season Pass. That should have been included or in a free update. Additional content like dungeons I'll happily pay for.
