One of my favorite things about Rockstar is them making me love the living hell out of things I normally wouldn't enjoy. I don't care too much for the 80's era. The style, music etc is just not my taste. But I LOVED VC. I was actually thinking about it today like "Man, I really hope they revisit the 80's era for GTA VI and go back to VC.
Same thing with RDR. I actually HATE Western stuff. Anything Western has never grabbed my attention until RDR. And I...
If you think "pretty mods" are the only mods for Skyrim, you clearly lack any and all knowledge of Skyrim on PC. There's a reason it's 5 years old and still one of the top played games. Go do your research before looking stupid.
Yeah I get what you mean. I have a pretty big backlog myself. Still haven't to get around to finishing Uncharted 4 lol I don't play as much as I use to, but every time there's a new update I usually hop back on and end up playing it for a week or so. I think it's a fantastic start to their online portion for open world games. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do for RDR2. I played the living hell out of RDR MP and it wasn't a fraction of what GTA V is. So ...
You can have up to 3 characters. You can always just start a new one.
Actually if you use the BSA unpacker that was updated for SSE you can unpack the original mods from OG Skyrim and still use them as loose files if they haven't been converted. Not going to say every single mod ever made will work, but every mod I've wanted that wasn't converted worked by unpacking :)
@Kurdishcurse
Umm I had the fast travel bug in Witcher 3 and was stuck on the islands and literally could not advance my game until they came out with a patch months later. I loved the Witcher 3, but I've had more serious bugs in that game than I've ever had in a Bethesda game.
And as someone else said, there's not another game or franchise you can't compare Elder Scrolls to. From the moment you step out the cave in Skyrim, you can go anyw...
I like the tint, but that's just personal preference. But yes, the blur is dynamic DOF which has a slider in the options menu.
I agree with the author. I've always loved Dark Souls DLC, but I beat this in less than 3 hours. Only one real boss is very disappointing. I'm not a big fan of PVP in Dark Souls. I'm not against it, I'll do it if required, but I hoped this DLC was going to be like the other with the Arena as an addition. Instead the PVP aspect was the main focus, with a very small and underwhelming PVE portion.
Hopefully the next DLC adds much more.

"This will affect the quality of reviews"
Lol the quality of reviews have been complete garbage for years. The majority of reviewers only use a fraction of the numerical scale, that being 7, 8 or 9. And anytime a game someone is looking forward to doesn't receive a score they expected (despite not even playing the game yet) they comment with "Don't care, buying it anyway" .
The only people suffering from this policy are journal...
My minds blown that people actually believe this is something new. As if it hasn't been happening already for YEARS. Particularly this year the worst, but it's nothing new. They're just the first to come out and say "Hey, no more week early reviews". It's really not a big deal. If you're hyped for a game, you're going to buy it day 1 no matter what reviews say because YOU want to play it and you want it to be good. If you're actually on the fence whether...
@Allsystemgamer
Except most people don't do basic trouble shooting that usually fixes the problem and instead cry it doesn't work. Check system requirements, restart computer, update drivers etc. I'm running with a GTX 1080, 8GB RAM, i7 3770K. 60FPS in both 4K and 1080, never dips, no stutter, super fast load screens etc.
Oh you mean all the whinny entitled brats that got the game for free yet still post negative reviews? As a PC gamer myself, some of those reviews are just pathetic. If ANYONE has the right to complain it would be console users. I myself LOVE Skyrim. So if I only owned a PS4 or Xbox, I would willing pay $60 to experience this game again remastered with mods. However, I understand people who think it should be cheaper. But PC gamers should be the last people complaining. The game goes on sale A...
@bruce755
How is this limiting your research before purchasing a game? The only thing limited to purchasing a new game is your patience. The game isn't going anywhere. If you're really THAT concerned about spending money on something, wait for reviews. The world isn't going to end if you can't get it day 1 with a bunch of media sites telling you whether or not its good.
Nowadays, people don't even really care about the written part of...
They didn't make it, only published it. A lot of people seem to forget they're also a publisher. Games like Fallout New Vegas, Elder Scrolls Online, DOOM, Evil Within, Dishonored etc are not made by Bethesda. Only published.
Aside from the game breaking bug in Fallout New Vegas (Which Bethesda didn't make, only published) they're never once released a broken game. Buggy yes, but not unplayable by any means. With the giant worlds and different variables and outcomes based on how you play, it's impossible to squash all the bugs. So people are more forgiving. Bethesda has proven they can create a game well worth your $60. And it's not like any of their recent games got HORRIBLE reviews.

Honestly, I felt RDR was ahead of its time for open world MP games. I believe their goal for RDR was what GTA Online is now, but they couldn't quite get it. But with the success of GTA Online and having a few years of feedback, I'm more than certain Rockstar will bring something very entertaining that I'll be playing on and off for years just like GTA Online.
I think it was more the PC version. I'm mostly a PC gamer but I do have a Playstation credit card and Sony Reward points so I bought it on PS4 to save some cash with all these games coming out. I only had a car not start once, and one blue screen. Aside from a couple of weather effects going out of wack, the game was perfectly fine. Yet on Youtube there's compilations of crazy glitches, all of which are on the PC version. Even then, I don't think it was broken, just really buggy. ...
True, but you also unlock skills for each class through the cards. And leveling up your skills via cards and class level is the only way to realistically survive Horde mode on Insane. Even Normal mode is pretty challenging depending on the map with very little skills. And considering you have to play A LOT to progress, it's very frustrating. I don't mind the microtransactions if the pay out is reasonable for those who play a lot, but it's not. You almost feel forced (obviously you...
Over hyped? Who was hyping it? No one lol
Despite it's very repetitious gameplay, it was a lot of good fun and had some cool stuff. The story was also excellent.
