Because it's not like Rust. Your base and save data isn't tied to a single server. You don't lose all your items when you die and you and your base go with you when you log out of the game, and is rebuilt automatically when logging back in. If you get in a server where someone placed their base in the exact spot you did, it will "pack up" your base and you can re-doploy it elsewhere. While they haven't shown much, they have explained a lot . There will also be a beta...

You don't need the Echo or any Amazon device. You can just download the Alexa app, link your Amazon account and get the "Skyrim - Very Special Edition" from the Amazon store and you're good to go.

I haven't bought into anything. I don't buy much physical copies anymore due to changes in my life. I even have a traveling case for my PS4 as it comes with me often. So for ME, digital is the best option. However, one of the cons with digital is missing out on collectors edition goodies unless I buy "X Edition" that also includes a copy of the game. So this saves ME money as I don't have to purchase a 2nd copy. Obviously I'm not the majority, but just because it doe...

You're right. Selling character edit vouchers (mind you, you can still edit your appearance without buying this) and givin us a constant flow of free DLC is so terrible. I can't believe a company would give away so much free content.

What about it? What if someone isn't interesting in all the little extras and just wants the base game, but also wants the physical collectors items. They would be forced to pay for content they don't want. Also, what about people who like to go all digital but also want collectors items? This is good way for digital players who also want those items without being forced to pay for another copy of the game.

Incorrect. Skyrim Remaster runs the same modified engine as Fallout 4. Behind the hood their identical. Fallout 4 could easily run on the Switch with the same settings Skyrim currently runs.

I guess you haven't seen Skyrim on Switch? Same engine.

For me personally the combat is extremely repetitive with section after section having similar objectives/task. Visuals and set pieces are breathtaking, but I just can't get into the gameplay. HOWEVER, if I was a reviewer, I wouldn't review this game. The only reason I played it is because I game share and my cousin wanted it. I've never been a huge fan of the series or the combat. I don't know if that's the case here, but lately I've been seeing lots of reviewers revi...

The sad part is, the MH developers have always done this. If anything, MHW has gotten less free content than previous games. Obviously it's a new engine so old assets don't exist to import for faster content. But at least something they've done for years is getting the proper recognition and hopefully will lead as an example to how to make your community happy. Not only are they giving us free DLC, they're actually listening to important feedback making QoL adjustment and addi...

The skirmish was extremely cool the first few times, then the novelty wore off for me. The Kingdom building aspect I do like, but there's progression barriers in place to keep people like me from spending all my time building. Which leads to side quest and other things required to recruit more people, before I can progress. Not to mention the majority are just fetch quest that also happen to be very dull and shallow.

The Witcher 3 has tons of fetch quest. But the feel ...

I'm in the same boat, it's not bad by all means. But I think the first one was just so good, that my expectations were very high for this game. I also completely avoided all info on the game aside from the reveal, so I wouldn't get even higher expectations. Almost everything has been improved, but I guess it's just missing the charm the original had. I couldn't put the first one down, part 2 has me easily switching between games. I think I'm only on like Chapter 6 or 7...

The title of the article is "My first hour with Ni No Kuni 2". First HOUR. Of course if you read it he/she is gonna talk about what they say/heard in the first hour of gameplay. If you're "in the midst of playing through this", you're well past the first hour of the game.

@babadivad

You're also fighting this "new" monster, 2 months after the game has launched. There's been plenty of time to grind and get some of the best armor sets. Black Diablos has never taken even half my life with a single hit. Your judgement is based off YOUR equipment. If the primary equipment you're wearing is good against Deviljo, of course he's not going to hit that hard. Tempered Kirin can one shot most people, but with the correct armor a...

@Godmars290

I never said any of those things. I said tons of fetch quest and lots to explore. There's obviously more to both games than just that, but No Mans Sky didn't launch with base building or most of the content is has now. Just like Sea of Thieves, they released with very little actual content, with promised free updates. No Mans Sky has also been out over a year and half, and it took quite a long time for those updates to come.

No need to...

Curious, what email service do you use? My friend and I both use Gmail and those emails always show up under "Promotions". My cousin uses Yahoo and never once received these. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but just something I noticed.

Yes. Honestly this game to me feels exactly like No Mans Sky, just pirate themed. Tons of fetch quest and LOTS to explore. I personally love these types of games, they're relaxing for me and TONS of fun with friends. Really makes me wish they added real co-op to No Mans Sky (maybe one day). But, them being very similar in terms of what there is to do, and what its about. I can totally see why people are shitting on Sea of Thieves. Again, I really enjoy these types of games, but I really f...

"I was so disappointed"

It's free....You being disappointed or anyone else being disappointed is meaningless.You have trouble with Black Diablos, but to me, he's EXTREMELY easy. Deviljo is also an old monster, not a brand new one. There's so much info and videos on his moveset that even new players could potentially take him down easily.

Both Black Diablos and Deviljo are extremely easy to me, but I fight them all the time. Simply b...

They are exactly that. "Side missions". They're there for people who want to further expand their gameplay after the credits roll. Character development should be done in the story, not optional quest. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 did this SAME exact method and people bitched about it. For people like me, I don't care. I'm a completionist, so I'll do all those missions. For a review, you don't need to 100% a game to form a valid opinion. If they beat the story and did ...

Did you happen to play the first game? Because I can tell you right now that first game was something special. I don't care about reviews, I'm getting this game day 1. But each game is reviewed differently, especially when it's part of a series. Are you gonna dock Monster Hunter because there's no character development and a weak story? No, because that long lasting franchise over the past decade has never put forth a real story or character development. While Ni No Kuni hasn&...
