And some games on PS4 require the PS Camera. That doesn't mean you have to buy those games, or the camera. All this "hidden cost" is pure nonsense. Every game that requires an additional download is printed on the box, just like the PS game (and PSVR games) that say "You''ll need these". At launch, half the USB headsets weren't even compatible with the PS4 unless the headset was made by Sony, and if I remember correctly, some of those didn't even work. ...
What? Capcom has always given free DLC for Monster Hunter. They've been doing that for years.
As a MH fan since it's original release on PS2, I honestly don't think that will be the case. Sure, if anyone says the concept isn't a 1:1 rip off they're clearly delusional. However, it does do enough to stand out on its own. The upgrade system is completely different, and combat is simpler but still challenging and a bit more faster pace.
It's not like there's 100 MH type games similar to PUBG. Also as a F2P game sometime next year I can totally se...
"How many cars do you own in real life? And how many can you drive at once?"
Lmfao what? What kind of ludicrous logic is that? I moved to NYC 8 years ago and sold my car and haven't needed one since. What does it matter if he owns and drives 1 car or 100? Were talking about video games.
"GT was known for have 15 variations of the SAME car, that's why the numbers were so high"
Yeah, back in the day when 15 ca...
@badz149
Ummmm yes? The console has been out for 8 months, the PS4 has been out for 3 years. Only having double when they've been on the market 3 times as long doesn't really matter. Especially when those games can be played on other platforms. Had EDMIX wanted to have a real conversation, instead of trolling, the conversation would have went a different way.
So stop forcing narratives huh? Yet you ended your original comment with "Trust me I'm not listing six-year-old ports as something to be excited about".
Then replied again with "I didn't buy PS4 to have 7 months of playing 3 games"
Then again "I'm playing a bit more highly rated games on PS4 "within 7 months" .. You have fun with those 3 games"
Maybe you should take your own advice. S...
Oh please, what first party exclusives are you up to your neck in on PS4? What's the last real good exclusive we got? Horizon Zero Dawn? Some would say Persona 5 (Not even sure if that's first party, not my type of game). Switch already got Mario and Zelda, with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 this week. 3 AAA extremely high rated franchises within 7 months. Everything great for the PS4 is coming in 2018. We started off the year pretty great, but the second half was extremely dull. Although I ...
"If the game gets fixed and becomes great, as it can and should be, positive word of mouth will spread and people will want to jump on-board."
Yup. ESO is proof of that. It's one of the biggest MMO's and very well received, but when it came out a few years back everyone laughed and they almost failed. Obviously not the same as trying to rob your consumers like EA, but as you said. IF the game is fixed and becomes great, people will go and get it.

Oh, so Wolfenstein 2 is a 6 year old game? WWE 2K18 is 6 years old? Doom? Dragonball Xenoverse 2? The system has been out a little over 8 months. Considering the massive failure of the Wii U, 3rd parties probably aren't so quick to want to develop for Nintendo prior to the Switch's massive success so far. Not only are those games coming/out already, they also run extremely well. So you can cherry pick Skyrim out of multiple games on a 8 month old system, ...
I agree. The move controllers are cool if your just wanting to mess around and have some fun. But if you really want that hardcore experience, the Dualshock is the way to go. And before someone says "Why would you play with a Dualshock, when Skyrim Special Edition is the same but better graphics and mods?". Here's your answer. Get a VR headset and you'll understand. People who actually have a PSVR and Skyrim VR understand. It's not the easiest thing to sell on somewhere ...
Nope. Aside from the Gear VR I got with my Galaxy S7, I've never played real VR. Got the Skyrim bundle and its exactly what I thought, and exactly what I wanted. VR isn't going anywhere, this is stepping stone to even bigger, better looking games on VR. First milestone was RE7, now Skyrim, it's only getting better. You can play your "real" games and not buy it. But I'm going to play those "real" games in VR mode.

While that's true, the Switch being able to run a customized version of the Special Edition instead of the original provides a much better experience. Running 64bit instead of 32 gives an overall increase in performance and fixes a ton of issues the PS3 version suffered from. While the core game remains the same, having a version that runs closer to the PS4 and XBone while still being portable is a huge selling factor.
I agree thou...
Well, to be far it's not just Skyrim on the go. It's the PS4/XB1 version scaled down a bit and on the go. I bought the Switch version and I picked up the Skyrim VR bundle. Each are fantastic in their own way. The Switch version has the Zelda bonuses of course, but the motion control for the lock picking is incredible. I honestly disconnect my joy cons to use the motion controls because it's so fun. Skyrim VR is self explanatory. You feel like your walking through the villages and ...
Do you happen to have any tips? I've seen the video from Bethesda, but my aim usually freaks out and half the time when I pull the arrow back, I release the button but it doesn't fire. Might just be my set up though.
Because it's not a game. It's an incomplete product. They have an unfair advantage because no matter what you say about the game the response is always the same. "It's in early access, the game isn't finished yet, give them time". Which is fair, but not when your competing for awards. It's not fair because there's no "set it stone" time frame for early access titles. They could sit in early access for 3 months, 6 months, or 5 years. They could compl...
This is the comment that frustrates me the most. Not because you or anyone here is saying it, but because the game itself is actually really damn good. EA unfortunately is forcing their devs to implement loot boxes, thus ruining the game. We see it in Madden, FIFA, Need for Speed, Battlefield, Battlefront, Every single recent EA title launching has loot boxes.
It's a shame. A real damn shame, because like I said. Battlefront 2 is actually a really incredible game that ...
Oh I do to, until you realize that every single character or class you play you don't ever level. It's all tied to the stupid cards. Want a level 10 Heavy class? Playing 5,000 hours won't do anything. You need 2 purple cards slotted to even reach level 10 to unlock the 3rd card slot. You know how much it is to upgrade a card from blue to purple? 480 crafting parts. I've played 5 hours of MP and have 445 crafting parts. You know the ONLY way to get more? Take a wild guess? Loot...
While I do agree, the Switch digital titles are not tied to one system. They FINALLY got with the times and it's tied to your Nintendo account.
