And 99% of the people HERE that say "BoTW is a good game, just not what it's made out to be" haven't even played it. And lets not act like all of a sudden everyone magically had a Wii U out of no where to be able to play it, when those same people spent the last 3 years bashing the Wii U to hell and back.

You're also forgetting the Switch has only been out 7 months and already has 2 "must own" titles that also happen to be 2 of the highest rated games of the generation. The same can't be said for any other platform. The PS4 and Xbone didn't have any "must own" titles on the same level as Zelda or Mario in their first 7 months. Let's not also forget Nintendo purposefully choose lower specs for focus on portability and cost.

Side note, lets ...

I assume you're referring to the teleportation? If so, that's been completely removed. In case you weren't aware.

My issue is VR in general. I'm so close to getting into it, but I'm not sure if the price is right compared to the enjoyment I'll get out of it. I feel like I could get the HTV Vive, but then not use as much as I think and there goes $600. Or I could go with the cheaper option and get the PSVR. But then I fe...

@Captain_Tom

I just told you, how are you confused? Some people buy consoles just for the sake of playing with their friends, others for the exclusives. The Xbone has been out a few years, it has exclusives. Clearly 30 million people wanted an Xbox. The reason I don't have or ever need one, is because MS said all their exclusives are coming to PC. I have a high end gaming rig, so I have absolutely no need for an Xbox.

But again, with gaming being big...

Umm yes, exactly that. Who do you think are the people spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on microtransactions? The casual gamer. Why do people act like casual gamers are broke? Were not in 2005 where video games weren't as popular as they are now. YouTube, Twitch, all these places have made gaming bigger than it's ever been, which means more casuals and more people with more money than brains.

It doesn't matter if it&...

Despite their lack of exclusives, you act like a ridiculous amount of good third party games didn't just release (and still releasing). The majority of the games played on both Xbox and PS4 are 3rd party titles. You realize the casual gamer doesn't give two shits about this little console war fantasy you along with tons of people have going on in their head right? All they care about is playing their favorite games with their friends. Yes exclusives help push console sales, but in bet...

So you're just going to ignore the fact that the Switch already has NBA 2K18, FIFA, and Dragonball Xenoverse 2? Not including the fact that WWE 2K18, L.A. Noire, Skyrim, Wolfenstein 2 along with Doom are also coming to the Switch within the next few months, not counting first party titles. This is all within less than a year of the Switch launching. Lets not forget with all the sales reports coming out for the Switch along with 2 of highest rated games this generation within months of eac...

Someone in the comments on that site said he's German and that info was photoshoped in. Considering it's a solid black box connected to a header and basic font. Pretty safe to assume it's fake.

I agree, but this article is about Fortnite. Not Fortnite Battle Royale. You actually earn new heroes, weapons, traps, survivors etc in Fortnite's "loot crates", where as Fortnite Battle Royale you purchase cosmetics directly.

Negative. As someone who liked the idea of the first one, but couldn't care enough to finish it, the 2nd one is MILES better. The first one had issues dating back to the 90s horror games, clunky movement/combat, bad camera (still could use some work in 2) etc. EW2 fixed nearly all that and changed the approach to make a much better, and way more enjoyable experience. I would encourage everyone who's a fan of survival horror games to give this a shot, even if you didn't care for th...

@Krysis

So? That's literally the worst argument you could make. Just because your game is free doesn't mean you're granted 10 million players actually playing your game. Trove has 4,000 people online in Steam, Dota has 780,000. Both free games. Dota 2 is one of the most played games on Steam. Fortnite isn't even on Steam and has 10 million players, Dota 2 is the second most played game on Steam with 780,000. There's thousands of free to play games out th...

You can. As you progress you'll unlock A LOT of things to spend Mirian on, but I get so much loot (to dismantle) plus those gems to drop extra currency, plus even more from doing missions. You can even get the gold currency (the one you pay real money for) by doing daily quests. Maybe the MT only effect the very end of the game, but I'm 17 hours in and feel no need to purchase anything extra and since you can buy the crates with in-game money, it doesn't feel rammed in my face eve...

Yup. Same here. I've had this card for nearly 2 years. I only use it to buy games, then pay them off within a week. I've gotten 15-20 $60 games for free just in reward points. If you're a responsible adult who buys tons of video games, you'll get a ton of free PSN credit from using this card.

Agreed. My Switch doesn't have a signal like my phone. If I want to watch videos and stuff, I'll use that. I'm not against it. I'm sure I'd use it eventually, but I agree. There's no point in really focusing on that when there's no connection aside from Wifi and most people already own multiple devices that do said things as you said.

The more you play the more you'll pay attention to the timer and the storm won't be an issue. I had the same problem when I played this and PUBG. Mostly because I don't play these types of games, so keeping an eye on that, moving and trying not to die was a bit much at first.

If you like the rush and satisfaction from what you get in Fortnite, PUBG offers the same thing, just in a more realistic setting. Obviously not including things that Fortnite doesn't ...

@starchild

I actually considered getting a PS4 Pro just to play Nioh with better resolution and frame rate, but I could never pull the trigger on the sale. Considering it was a PS4 exclusive, it coming to PC never once crossed my mind aside from wishful thinking. The only announcement that could top this is them openly supporting mods and giving the community the tools to do so. That might be a bit too much wishful thinking, but hey, you never know haha

Yup. I bought this on PS4 along with the Season Pass and loved it. My only issue (mostly because I'm a PC gamer) was the amount of jaggies when playing on performance mode. I grown use to it, but man, I can't wait to repurchase this game and play it on PC. Devs more than deserve the double dip. If the DLC wasn't included already, I'd gladly buy the Season Pass and game all over.

@jer1122

Well first off, that's your opinion, not a fact. You can say you don't care all you want, but at the end of the day, it's your opinion.

I also like how you completely ignored my fact about Fortnite having m/k support on PS4. Which makes your entire paragraph of excuses null. I play on both, but mostly PC. Aside from resolution, textures, effects and FPS, the experience is nearly identical for 3rd party games. Having better hardware d...

@jer1122

And that logic can't be applied to PC? You think all 13 million people that bought PUBG have the same set up? There's people that play at 120 FPS, 30 FPS, 45 FPS, 60 FPS, controllers, Steam controller, crappy keyboards, mechanical keyboards. At the end of the day, doesn't matter about your set up if your skills are sub par. Fortnite supports M/K on PS4, where are all the articles talking about PS4 users not using M/K are at an unfair advantage? There is...

So basically, just how Forza Horizon 3 was when it launched. I've grown to liking Horizon over the original series, so I might pick this up down the line, but if its similar to FH3 in performance at launch then it should be fine. And of course will get better over time.
