To a certain extent, but Ninte do has really positioned themselves against everyone else. For the rest of the market, the difference between PC, PS4 and XB3 is fairly minimal--the big games on each are the same and there are only a small number of exclusives to worry about. The WiiU may lack many of those multiplatform AAAs, but it has a higher number of AAA exclusives.
This effectively changes the question from "Do I buy a PC, PS4, XB3 or a WiiU?" to "Should I...
Its losing AAA third party support, specifically its losing UbiSoft. It never really had Square-Enix or EA or various others. But Nintendo is really reaching out to independent developers, and currently the WiiU has the most third party support of any Nintendo do home console since the SNES as a result.
Those aren't "free games" you're getting with PS+, those are subscriptions dependent rentals. The more PS+ game rentals you d/l, the less likely you are to cancel your sub. PS+ is the hook, the rentals are the bait.
I hope not, but yeah... Those rumors of PS1/2 software emulation are looking less likely by the day.
That'll teach you to crack a joke.
Yo increase the PS4s library in the absence of any form of backwards compatibility.
I'd give it a 6/10 myself, only 3 of the new tracks are very interesting (maybe 4). The old tracks are all pretty dull as they do very little with the antigrav or hangliding mechanics that make MK8 such a leap forward.
It's like half of an XL. So... Probably $30 USD?
Selling patches as expansions and expansions as new games is kind of Tecmo-Koei's entire business model.
A hyphen is not a space. How in God's green Earth did you manage to confuse the two?
Okay. Thats you. Me? I own every console, and of the new stuff, the WiiU is the best. Hands down. Yeah, it has a bunch of great exclusives--but even without them it's better than the competition simply by virtue of being fully backwards compatible with Wii games and all digital and Virtual Console content. And free online play, of course.
It baffles me to see people act like the only choice is between the PS4 and XB3. Especially considering how anti-consumer Sony's go...
If I were make ng it, I'd just make it an alternate universe thing instead of trying to fit it in with the books' narrative. IE let the player determine who lives/dies instead of the book.
It may look awesome... But it's not. Not by a mile.
When it comes to the recent final fantasies, people have stupid expectations. They expect way too goddamn much. There have been plenty of FF remakes in the past, and all of them have been fantastic. Thing is, when people talk about an FF6 remake, how many are imagining an expanded script, voice acting, and new art/sprtite assets?
And when it comes to FF7, how many people are imagining anything else than Advent Children: The Game?
A couple days ago. On my PS3. Arguably the biggest reason why the PS3 is superior to the PS4.
10 years ago, you would have had half a point. Now, random encounters are pure anachronism.
I have no idea what you're talking g about. Reading comprehension, pal: it matters.
I'm not downplaying any market; hell, I'm only even considering the Japanese market, and only the narrow demographic of that market represented in these stats.
You may not like what those statistics indicate, but disagreeing with me won't change anything.
Your argument is irrelevant. The simple fact here is that, more than a year into the current console generation, only half of the attendees at Japan's biggest gaming convention owned ANY home console. And that's the best, least likely case. I think we can reasonably conclude that many of those polled owned two or more platform sent yet her decreasing the percentage of people owning current gen platforms.
This shouldn't be a surprise it anyone. Home console gaming ...
Allow me to translate from Fanboyish to English:
"Just another remake" means "basic port."
"Not just another remake" means "enhanced port."
Fanboys refuse to use to correct words because they can denigrate the competition by deriding its "ports," while lauding their favored multinational corporation's "remakes." (And yes, I realize that by pointing this out I become a target for those sam...
I dunno about you, but I've still got room for my PC and more than enough room for my PS3, the latter of which looks to be superior to its successor for a lomg time--possibly forever, at this rate.
Well, I do disagree with you, because Persona 5 is not yet out and therefore you cannot know whether or not you'll like it at all... and it's not an exclusive title.
And is PS+ even that good on PS4? I was under the impression most of the discounts and free games were still PS3 or PSV?
