Depends on the platform for me. For PC, there's no choice to be had; for 3DS its frequently a necessity; for PS4 its largely a non-issue due to Sony's inability to support digital content and incredibly anti-consumer bent.
Its designed that way so they can create the illusion of player agency without bothering to design a branching narrative, which would be a real pain in the ass to even contemplate doing in an episodic series.
Don't expect much different. CDPR sucks at optimization. Just look at the texture scaling the n TW2. Anything short of the highest setting yielded PS2-level textures.
Old new/duplicate story.
No, they ported the PC version of FF7. Sony wants everyone to re-pirchase stuff for PS4, or worse--pay a subscription fee to stream games we already own.
Don't be agist. Stupidity and youth are not mutually dependent.
I have a hard time believing its a common problem. I've never so much as even heard, secondhand, of a Nintendo console breaking.
Lol at people thinking Assassins Creed is a yearly franchise. How many times have we had 2 or more AC-branded games in a year?
And more to the point, don't we all realize that EVERY open-world UbiSoft game follows the exact same AC formula?
You're kidding, right? 3DS "buzz" has been really strong lately, what with the new models, and all the big games lately--Pokemon, Smash, Fantasy Life, Persona, etc.
And the "no games" criticism of the Vita has never been "there are literally no games." It has always been "there are too few exclusive games to justify a purchase."
Which is perfectly valid. All the big Vita exclusives are pretty niche--the platform com...
Odds are any time you see someone making a list of something, they know nothing about it.
Its because people who are experienced enough to know realize the field is too wide to list things out.
You've got some good taste there.
I'm so sorry.
I think they call it "netrick." Crazy cult.
Well, general PC gaming specs have been pretty static for a long time. I mean, you can run most games on an HD4000.
Problem is, PC gamers don't get performance commensurate with our specs, because so many games are poorly and lazily optimized--both ported titles and native titles. Hell, I get better performance on Ubisoft open-world games on my PS4 that my aging PC which is about twice as powerful spec-wise.
And, hell, I still can barely get NWN2 or KOTOR...
Sorry. That was the vicadin talking. Not me. Meant Blue Dragon.THOUGH blue odyssey does sound like a cool name for an RPG.
Well, you've got my agreement on the former, but not the latter.
Like many other 360 JRPGs, Blue Odyssey is an example of a great idea with seriously flawed execution.
Seconded. One of only two JRPGs on the 360 worth playing.
A new engine.
That's all I want. The rest will attend to itself.
...Absolutely nothing. I posted that comment at an article re: Watch Dogs' poor sales on WiiU. No idea how it got here.
Not surprising. Its certainly the best AAA multiplatform of 2014 by a pretty wide margin.
